We stayed for 2 nights in this sister property of the stiltz (where we stayed a few years ago) the lodge is at the edge of town in a more residential zone. From your cottage you're overlooking the dry rvierbed and the dunes, great view. Service is impeccable, breakfast has a good choice, rooms are very comfy, excellent bed, we...

Desert Breeze Lodge is in a new-ish, developing area of Swakopmund overlooking the dry riverbed and slightly away from the main commercial area. No sea view but the other reviews photos say it all: the view from the bedroom window really looks like an artwork. Beautiful light on the sand dunes, ever-changing. The room we stayed in was a stand-alone...

This lodge is one of the best places in Namibia, the view is stunning, the rooms are great, the staff is very friendly and well organised, the manager is perfect and they have the best cappuccino over all. Please if you stay in Swakopmund stay at Desert Breeze.

We flat out loved this place. Great views from the room/cottage of the dunes, wonderful spacious accommodation, delicious breakfast cooked perfectly. And the best part...happy, smiling, fabulous service. Certainly the best service we had during our three weeks in Namibia, hands down. It wasn't quite chilly enough to light our fireplace, but that would have been fun. Margaret, the manager,...

It is a very nice place with helpful and friendly staff, clean with a beautiful view of the Namibian desert on the outskirts of Swakopmund. Strongly recommended. Value for money and a different experience than just staying in a hotel in the city.

This unusual lodge was nice and we enjoyed staying in "the villa". Sitting by the fireplace in this cozy lodge was perfect in the chilly weather. The only complaint would be that the internet was not working, even though we were assured that it was.

Another gem in Namibia. While just on the fringes of Swakopmund, it's an easy walk to downtown, and after sitting in a car for the best part of a week, it was good to stretch our legs. This is a lovely boutique hotel. All the suites have sweeping views of the sand dunes, a beautiful, peaceful and tranquil vista. The...

Originally, we planned on staying at The Stiltz but they were full so our travel agent booked us into Desert Breeze Lodge which has the same owners. Boy, are we glad she did. This is one of my favorite places on our three week adventure. Beautiful setting with the dunes in the background. The room was huge with a big...

We've been staying at this lovely place for two night. Situated at the edge of Swakop, it all the rooms/small houses provide a breathtaking view into the Namib desert, which starts right next to you! So you're waking up looking towards dunes and sand. The staff is very friendly and helps you with bookings, activities and restaurant recommandations. And Esters...
