I think Residencial Reggio Emilia is one of the best options in Pemba in terms of quality/price ratio. I liked its position on Wimbe Beach, about 5 kilometres from the center of town and 1 kilometer from Avenida da Marginal, where the town activities start. Be careful when you arrive to the airport to not pay taxi more than 3...

I visited this Hotel after 3 years and there is need for another review. The reason is not, that it became worse than last time, but there is now an excellent restaurant since a few months. The standard is the same as before, very clean and very good staff and helpful management,if you have any questions.

After having had a really terrible experience in the place literally next to Reggio Emilia (Pieter's Place), we were nicely surprised to find here a really friendly staff and a comfortable room! Reggio Emilia is furnished with taste and a pleasant stay is assured. Totally recommended!

We stayed in Reggio Emilia passing through Pemba on our way back to Maputo. It is a great place, VERY comfortable bed, in a beautiful yard that lets you relax after a day on the beach. Amazing manager, friendly staff, absolutely recommendable!

I stayed here two nights and enjoyed very much. The rooms are fairly large with a clean bathroom, a TV, mosquito nets and a safe. Breakfast was more than filling with the addition of eggs on request. The place is conveniently located and at a reasonable price compared to many other nearby hotels. Lovely staff and good security. Would certainly...

Conveniently located on Wimbi Beach, not far from Pemba town, Emilio's offers clean, comfortable and quiet accommodation. All rooms have a patio, with tables and chairs, good for having a read or a private lunch. Although it's called a B&B, breakfast is not included in the reasonably-priced room rate. It consists of 2 rolls, fruit, yogurt, jam, butter, tea or...

This was a little surprise, good hotel with friendly owners. Beak first was very good if you compare it to the average hotel in Mozambique. All fresh food of high quality. the rooms are clean and not many bugs inside the room. the only thing that is missing is a desk, if you have to work on a laptop, it...

I am not giving 5 stars for the following reasons: - a bit pricey - the room style was not my favorite, but that's a bit subjective, admittedly This was the first time in Mozambique that we were warmly welcome by the manager. She was also very helpful in suggesting places where to eat. We really relaxed and felt comfortable....

I think for travellers, starting their explorations at Pemba,Reggio Emilia is the best option in town.Very friendly staff, extraordinarily clean and a fine place for eating next door(there is no restaurant in Reggio Emilia at the moment).Do not pay more than 250 Mt(less than 10$) for the taxi from Airport to the hotel!
