We stayed at Pepe Rotto room which was situated on the first floor facing the tiny garden. The room is extremely quiet, clean and spacious (although it is slightly dark to our likings). The team working at the riad is the best. They'll do everything for you and put you first. Hayat is the sweetest and THE BEST manager you...

Riad Watier is a unique a wonderful place due to the care and warmth of the staff and Hayat, who manages the house. The accommodations are lovely, we enjoyed dinner by he fire in common dinning room and breakfast each morning on the terrace in still warm December sunshine. The house if filled with artwork which inspired us to meet...

Riad Watier has beautiful rooms with interesting furnishings & décor. It is spotlessly clean & in a good location. Excellent breakfasts & evening meals. Hayat & her team do a superb job - nothing is too much trouble.

This was not the most beautiful of the places we stayed in Morocco but it was our favourite. It is beautiful, though, in its own way, and rather idiosyncratic. Located in a quiet alley, in the centre of the medina. Our room was large and comfortable, with excellent bed linen. Absolutely no problem with shower pressure - an issue someone...

After spending a day or two walking the streets of Essaouria, and getting lost, which is half the fun, it was always a relief to find Bobs Music, take a left , walk a few paces, ring the bell of Riad Watier, the door opens and you are admitted to the quiet of the Riad's courtyard. Even better, to relax...

riad watier is a sparkling gem in this lovely seaside town. perfectly placed on a side street within the heart of the medina, it is quiet yet conveniently close to everything. as a silver haired woman traveling with my blonde daughter, we experienced no safety concerns and felt comfortable walking everywhere at all hours of day or night. the spacious...

I loved staying here! Such a charming, well-maintained hotel in the heart of the medina. Hotel manager Hayat was so hospitable and made us feel so welcome with her attention to us-- making us tea and serving our kids cookies on arrival, showing us on a map the best way to see the city in the short time we had,...

Ryad Watier is the best place to stay in Essouira! No need to look further. Nestled away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the medina, the courtyard, rooms, roof (with view of the ocean) are bright and uniquely decorated bridging old and new Morocco. Heyat, who manages the place is lovely, as are the rest of the...

This riad is such a cool place. It's pretty much an art gallery inside. Hayat and the staff are great. The rooms have a modern touch and are well done. It's right in the middle if the Medina but off on a side street so it's quiet at night. Word of advice, try and get the rooftop room, bit of...
