I spent 4 nights at the Riad Mslaika, what can I say that probably hasn't already been said! A true gem of a place to stay in beautiful Essaouria, and this Riad, is an absolute gem, the icing on the cake for me! The decor is stunning, the ambience created by the owners is unique...a tranquil haven of sheer class...

We stayed 3 nights in a beautiful room in this lovely Riad, which is in a quiet street, right in the centre of the medina. From our arranged pick up from the bus on arrival, the friendly helpful service, the exquisite breakfasts, the stunning decor of our room, and the beautiful shared areas downstairs - this was a peaceful retreat...

We stayed in Riad Malaika in mid April for 3 nights. Malaika is a very charming and stylish authentic little riad. The lobby is beautiful with a small pond and beautiful mosaics, berber carpets and other moroccan decorations. Also the stairway is very beautiful. Our room was on a second floor. it was beautifully decorated yet quite tiny, although enough...

This is a lovely place with lots of artistic touches to give the small internal downstairs courtyard a nice feel. We had a suite at the top of Riad which had a great sense of space and access on to the Roof Terrace (although don’t expect a view). Food is really good and excellent value. The Manager was really helpful...

Although close to the ocean, sites and the central shopping areas, this Riad is great for being on a quiet street. Once we arrived at the Medina main gate, we called the riad and they sent a guy with a luggage cart to pick us up. Otherwise, it could have been difficult to find our way through the maze. The...

We stayed 1 night in this riad in the center of Essaouira. The location is quite good and the interior is nice. The rooftop could be very nice as well, but it was a bit dirty and not very well taken care of. The dinner was a little too much of a show, but tasted fine.

This riad is in the medina, near everything, and the downstairs common area is truly lovely with a more sophisticated, almost European elegance than many (linen table cloths, white roses, a fountain, a fire in the fireplace on chill evenings, etc.). Staff were friendly, helpful and more than competent. Our room, though pretty, was small and without soundproofing, so late...

My daughter brought me to Essaouira for a weekend as a birthday pressie, it was her second time at Riad Malaika. Wow what a fantastic place - comfortable, ideal location in a quiet derb, easy access to all parts of the Medina and delicious breakfasts - different each day. I have travelled worldwide and I can honestly say this is...

This beautiful riad is right in the heart of Essaouira's medina. It's location is superb. We were made to feel at home from the friendly and attentive service from all the staff and the warm welcome from owners Sylvie and Piermark. Our room was charming, stylish and spacious. The breakfasts were fresh and plentiful. The most delicious were the traditional...

Just perfect for a chilled week in the winter sun. Tucked away on a quiet cul-de-sac in the centre of the Medina you're only 30 seconds away from the mix. Great place, great food, but it was the owners and staff who were the ones that made this a really special time indeed. Friendly, helpful and warm, just fantastic.
