Just had a lovely 2 days/3 nights at the Riad Malaika - lovely place, lovely staff, and just the most unexpectedly amazing food! The dinner we had there really was one of the best meals that I have had in any restaurant anywhere for a long long while.

Stayed for one night at this Riad, which is large, comfortable with friendly and helpful staff. The Riad has a large number of bedrooms, we had the suite because we wanted separate bedrooms. The suite is well equipped (coffee machine but sadly no capsules, fridge etc) and fairly spacious. We ate dinner in the Riad by the fire and can... More

We recently stayed at Riad Malaika and it was really charming. The riad itself is very small and in a great location. The staff was nice and very friendly. It was pretty cold the night we stayed at Riad Malaika and there didn't appear to be any heat and so I would recommend staying here during warmer months. Overall, it... More

I stayed in this Riad with my wife and our 10 month old daughter for a week in November 2016. We had the two room suite on the top floor next to the roof terrace. From start to finish it could not have been a more wonderful experience. A taxi (including baby car seat!) was arranged for us from the... More

Riad Malaika is perfectly located deep in the old city, on the northern edge of the medina. The hosts were very accommodating and the rooms very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and perfectly adequate. The medina is car free so the riad is very quiet and peaceful at night. We had a great time there.

My sons and I stayed for one night at the end of our holiday. The riad is away from the hustle and bustle of the busy streets, tucked away at the end of a dead end. The hotel is beautifully appointed and feels very traditional. Everything was clean and the staff were professional and cared for us well during our... More

Riad Malaika is an amazing place to stay while in Essaouria. A bit off the beaten path, down an alley, it is a gem! It is a Riad...courtyard in the center of the building. The main entry area is beautiful...decorated in Moroccan style with a water feature in the center of the room. The rooms are spacious and decorated in... More

Choukran to all of you you made my stay feel like a princess. Your friendly staff, starting from the man who picked me up at the bus station, the beautiful riad, the very nice room, the talented cook called Mina. I'm still trying to cook her Tajine's as good as she did it..... And of course the big chef cat... More

Everything was clean and service was good. The cooking lessons were excellent and the other guests were like-minded! Ask for an itemised bill upon departure as easy to lose track of what you have consumed.

Getting there was easy. Good thing Google and here maps both work here unlike the medina in Marrakech. Once we arrived, we were welcomed and offered mint tea or coffee while we filled out the mandatory guest forms. The place is beautiful and they even upgraded us to a comfort room and it's very nice. The terrace was very beautiful... More
