My fiancé and i visited Lux belle mare for our engagement this May and it was definitely one of the best decisions ever made. This resort is the ultimate get - away! Whether alone,as a couple or the entire family. The attention to detail was impeccable. We spent 10 incredible days in Mauritius at Lux Belle Mare. Everything was perfect from the beginning until the end. We were received very kindly and were impressed by our junior suite which was very spacious and had a great terrace with direct access to the garden. For botanically interested people there is a great diversity of plants and palm trees you can discover! The beach left us speechless, the white sand and blue sea let it look like paradise. We had the best time having drinks at the beach or just relaxing in the sun. The food at Lux Belle Mare is excellent and the staff is the kindest that we could imagine. A special extra that made our holidays so unforgettable is the Lux Coffee Bar that we instantly fell in love with. We were received by Barista Bilall who let all our coffee dreams come true. We spent various hours just sitting at the coffee bar enjoying very high quality coffee. It’s the perfect place even on rainy days. We were also lucky and got a glimpse into the coffee roasting process which Bilall and Yashveer showed us. If you are a coffee lover then the Lux Belle Mare is the perfect option for you. All in all the hotel and its staff surpassed our expectations and made our trip one of the best of our lives. Special thanks go to Bilall for making our time at Lux unforgettable. Also we would like to thank Milina & Wardah from guest relation they were very helpful. Moreover a huge thank you goes to Amit for service & Hitess thé barman at Beache rouge who fulfilled all our culinary desires. The best housekeeping we could imagine was done by Kunal & Yasvii. Me and my husband just spent the most wonderful time at the Lux resort. We’ve received 6* experience. The resort has great selection of free and paid for activities which made our honeymoon absolutely exceptional. The staff is very friendly in every restaurant, bar and house keeping. We were blown away especially with our butlers Mahen and Sanju. They went above and beyond to ensure we were looked after. Our Villa was very beautiful and spacious. We loved our private pool and private beach. We strongly recommend the place!

I’ve just returned from spending 10 days at the Lux Belle Mare resort in Mauritius with my husband & sister in law., where I celebrated my 60th birthday. Beautiful island & beautiful resort. There were several concerns that we had on the resort, one being that even though the accommodation ranged from Room Only to All Inclusive , no one had any wrist bands to identify who was on what level. The resident manager Gerhard explained that the Lux did not want anyone to feel less than others, so whenever you had a meal/drinks, you gave your room number & the staff would know what board you were on. We have never seen this in any of our travels worldwide, but it seemed to work here. My other concern was that there are no lifts on the resort which I did not know. Our room was located on the 1st floor which meant 2 flights of stairs, having a mobility condition, I would have chosen a different hotel. We also found that after a few days, guests were going down to the pool around 5am to lay out their towels, saving their place, which I don’t think should be allowed. However, that all aside, it’s the wonderful staff at the resort that makes your stay special. A massive thank you to a fantastic manager- Ravin - this man was everywhere overseeing all restaurants & engaging with clients everyday. Meha, for making sure we enjoyed our meals, Wardah, Joyce, Kay- for arranging my birthday surprise, Roma, Vijay- made us our first cocktail , Kimberley & Arvin who looked after us on the beach, Divya at Beach Rouge & especially Resident Managers Gerhard Hecker & Sheila Malloo who took time each day to liaise with guests & take feedback. The all do fantastic work. Would definitely try one of the other Lux hotels on the island on our next visit.…

We’ve returned home from one of the best holidays we’ve been on! Had such a fantastic time at Lux with our 2.5yr old and 1yr old. They enjoyed the beach everyday, the pool and the ice cream truck, great buffet every evening and one night we had the band and the guys played Baby Shark! Duck Laundry was divine as was Amari by Vineet. Our room was beyond incredible. Special shout outs to: • Ravi and Bilal at Café Lux. I went to get a coffee and have a chat every single day. Both of them were soo friendly and I loved having conversations with them. Bilal always went over and beyond with my kids, treating them to lots of yummy cookies and sweet treats (even for our ride home in the taxi). Ravi would always remember my kids names and call them out as if we’d known each other for ages. These small touches meant everything! • Purran at the morning buffet. I got my delicious uttapams from him every morning and he always took the time to have a little chat. A great start to my days! • Neel at the evening buffet. What a fab guy! Was always nice to see him and have a little chat over the pasta counter - he always remembered exactly how my kids like their pasta. All the stuff were fantastic and really took the time to ensure we were having a great stay. You absolutely must go to the Lux Belle Mare sometime in your life! This has been our best holiday experience, ever! We stayed in one of the Private Villas for ten nights. Their website doesn't do it justice - it's even more awesome than we were expecting and the Villa team were simply amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were treated to the most spectacular, personal service from the Villa Manager Suren and his villa team of Kishan, Sanju, Girish, Mahen, Khanden and Pravind (not forgetting Benji, Outam and Payer behind the scenes too). Absolutely all of them constantly went out of their way to ensure that we got the best personal service of anything we needed throughout our stay. Our Villa was cleaned twice a day by our personal villa "butlers" which was so nice. Firstly in the morning whilst we were out sunbathing. And then, to come back after dinner in the evening and have your villa completely refreshed again was brilliant. We had canapés and sparkling wine brought to us before dinner every night along with our bed decorated with different messages each day, including one for my wife's birthday, a really nice touch guys. Thank you so much! Our private pool was nicely heated at all times and felt like a bath, perfect for relaxing after a hard day laying on our sunbeds. Our private Villa was extremely spacious, with a lounge, dining area, kitchen, bedroom, dressing room, bathroom, shower, private plunge bath and vanity area. If you want to experience one of the best hotel accommodations in the world, then choose one of these Villa's - you will love it. Suren and his team also laid on an amazing breakfast on the beach service for us one morning, with breakfast served on our own private table, on the Belle Mare beach, with the waves gently lapping at our feet. One of the most romantic and amazing breakfast experiences we have ever had. One of the best things about being in a Villa is that all of the Villa guests have their own private beach area with their own reserved sunbeds which took away all the usual stress of rushing to secure a sunbed in the morning. This made our whole holiday experience so much more relaxed. We got the same sunbeds, reserved for us by our Villa Butler Girish every day, who got to know us well over the holiday and very quickly knew our drinks preferences at various points in the day, all of which he brought to us before we even asked. Outside of the Villa's, the rest of the hotel was similarly excellent. All of the restaurants had a different ambiance relating to the food and location at that part of the hotel. We loved having a cocktail at Beach Rouge after dinner, looking out on the beautiful Belle Mare beach whilst enjoying the dance music from the resident DJ. Guest DJ's also visited over the duration of our stay. We selected the All Inclusive Package and were so pleased that we did. It just helped us thoroughly enjoy all that the hotel had to offer, day and night without worrying about the final bill. We would certainly recommend anyone staying at the Lux to pay the all inclusive supplement, you won't regret it! We are leaving this lovely hotel Lux Belle Mare in a few hours what a paradise this hotel and island. The staff have been amazing from the lady Kay who organised our wedding anniversary treats and didn't charge us for any of it to Akeelesh the outstanding helpful waiter on the beach that looked after us every day bringing us Coke everyday at 10am without us even asking him he deserves to go far. And to Bhouhn who did our champagne cocktail making and brought rum to us in the evening.

This hotel is called lux for a reason, it really is lux! We got a great welcome reception, fantastic service from front of house and kay from celebrations team who ensured she went through all the honeymoon amenities, restaurants and general activities around the hotel. Although there were other honeymooners we felt we were the only ones. It was so nice when we went to restaurants and before we even stepped foot inside they knew it was us. Our favourite was Dhisha in mixe restaurant and Ici who was so attentive throughout, we missed her when she wasn't there! The manager was so accommodating when we had a disturbed night and couldn't check out on time, we appreciated that so much The hotel itself is beautiful, well maintained and the beaches and gorgeous turquoise water was something that made it hard to leave! There were nice touches like a prayer mat in the room and assurances of halal dietary requirements Its not boring with lots of activities to do and eat, some highlights: - everyday dinner buffet with different themes and plenty of choice -honeymoon dinner at Amari by Vincent. The waitress Yuvri was great as were the chefs including head chef who kindly gave us a bit of a behind the scenes food demo when we asked him how to make a certain recipe!! - duck laundry (we've done a separate review, food is great) - beach rouge, inclusive with HB and good casual food -rolls Royce food truck, nice for lunch -cafe lux delicious beverages, complimentary in the morning -k bar great honeymoon breakfast and mocktail making session - jacuzzi, plunge pool and sauna - junk art gallery, home made souvenirs for our memories. - pool, tennis and table football, board games - everyday tea house with complimentary teas from the world -gym, daily fitness classes which most were complimentary eg yoga, aqua fitness -daily activities on the lobby board eg kite flying, message in bottle treasure hunt -out-door cinema with popcorn - complimentary water activities,.daily glass bottom boat and pedal boat but there were loads others for different ability levels (snorkeling, kayaking etc!) There's more which we probably have forgotten to mention. We were surprised that it was such a family friendly place and those with kids will love it here as there's plenty to do plus kids clubs. From the minute we arrived to the minute we departed, this was an amazing break. Location - sandy beach, Lagoon, safe swimming - fantastic; rooms - spacious and luxurious; facilities - choice of restaurants, bars, spa and large pool area etc - great; food - top notch and plenty of choice (vegetarian wife especially!). What made the holiday in such an amazing top place we’re the staff who could not do enough for us and were friendly and engaging. Special mention goes to staff at Mixe - in particular Delores, Chica and Priya and at the K-Bar - barman Bhawoo (rum expert!) and Beedaysee our server (even though he was a Liverpool fan!) and Vijayi for his attentiveness This is a fantastic place which makes you feel very comfortable and wanting to come back for more - which we hope to do 👍…

Lux belle mare was the right choice for a weekend stay before the wedding reception. Very friendly staff, catered room for our needs. Room nears pool view isn’t one of the quietest so we requested a room away from the pool and it was great we had room changed near the coy pond. We mentioned we were in Mauritius for our wedding for following weekend and they gave us a honeymoon package for free. Dining in Indian restaurant was great. Thanks to Jennifer, hotel manager for making the stay a memorable one!
