Had a wonderful stay at the Village House. It has all the right ambience for a stay in Sarawak. Ideal for visitors who want to trek Mt Santubong, as they provide a shuttle going to and back from the start of the trail. The breakfast included in your room payment is fantastic and their lunch and dinner menu are just...

After 2 weeks of exploring Borneo this hotel provided the ideal rest and relaxation before flying home. We really enjoyed chilling out in the big recliners and the hammocks. Don't be put off by the initial setting, inside it truly is a gem and the food was the best of our whole holiday. The staff were friendly and the accommodation...

My 2nd visit to this resort since my last year stayed. This time was a bit different experience compared my previous because it's happened to be the yearly Rainforest World Music Festival 2016. It's full house and my 1st experience to stay in a dormitory style. Very clean and just nice with 6 beds in a room. I would categorize...

I stayed here with my boyfriend for two weeks, using it as a base for our day trips around the area. The hotel is gorgeous, very quiet and secluded. The staff were wonderful very thoughtful and very happy to help. Food was also fab, I would recommend doing the Taste of Borneo! xx

If you are looking for a relaxing trip, this could be the suitable choice for you. Notes: Wearing shoes/sandals are not allowed in the room No Wifi/TV/any entertainment in the room The room is clean and quiet. However, the male staff is quite bias towards local customer. Foreigner can wear anything to the pool and yet he scold my boyfriend...

This is a boutique hotel with very few rooms, so it that way it feels you're not one of many. The food is good except the rooms are small. Large bathrooms though. The hotel is set on a smallish plot of land, so there aren't many places to wander about. Essentially it's the pool and the tv room. There's no...

We stayed at the Village House on 9th July for 3 nights. What can I say about this place, everything was great. The layout and decor is first grade and has the real feel of a relaxing yoga retreat. If you want 2 or 3 days simply to unwind and kick back in a rural setting with the soothing sounds...
