This owner is a total rip off! Beware of any " adventures" that Danny Voon provides as it is all a lie and a total rip off! The long house trip was supposed to be special trip with never been visited by any one before, so it was supposed to be the real deal long house where it's authentic. Turns...

Plus side: The hotel has a unique interior which resembles the local long house. The owner, Danny is nice to wait for me as I reach the hotel quite late. Good location, short walk to Carpenter Street and The JUNK is just behind it Definitely the price. Need Improvement The shared bathroom is badly ventilated. The anti-slip mat made it...

Friendly welcome on arrival is the only positive I can give. Rat seen scurrying around the kitchen on second morning. Only member of staff on duty all weekend did not speak English or understand when informed. Noise from restaurant extractor fan next door very loud in bedroom and continued until 11pm. Hotel cluttered with random objects. Bed extremely uncomfortable, mattress...

Absolutely for the budget traveller and adventurer. The owner is friendly and will help explain a few basic places of interest in Kuching to you, as well as help you book transport if you need. There is a great lounging area to hang out and chill, as well as meet others who are staying there. Good location as it is...

Million thanks to the owner – Danny Voon, not only the most welcoming and helpful host but also an amazing guide. We stayed at the guesthouse for one night before going on a 3d/2n trip to Batang Ai, and a few more after we got back. The guesthouse is very tastefully and uniquely decorated. The ground floor has a tiny...

We stayed at Borneo Tribal Lodge on two occasions, before and after our visit to Bako National Park. As soon as we arrived we were made to feel very welcome by the owner, Danny, and just knew we would want to return after our national park expedition. The rooms at BTL are small but tastefully decorated and comfortable. Our only...
