The hostel service was somewhat not so good. U need to obey the hostel's rules. Shoes off at the stairs, bathroom is awful as the water pressure not so good. Bed is moderate. U can feel the spring coil of the matress.

Sorry for your high expectation. As we are just a guesthouse, we don have any menu for you to order what you want for your breakfast. My staff was good to upgrade you to the deluxe window room which the bed , mattress is a new set. Please don get upset because we don serve you the "Mee" which you...

Budget room at secluded area and within 15min walks to Kuching Waterfront. Coffee show is just downstairs and convenience store is just 3 mins nearby main road. Within 8 min walks, to famous Topspot seafood foodcourt. Simple fan double room with mattress on the floor. The room light is very dim. They had thin wall, so do tone down your...

This place is a joke. I booked online about 2 to 3 hours before checking-in. It says online ''24-hour reception'' Yet I had to bang my way in for a good 15 minutes before a guest opens the door for me. No one is at the reception whatsoever so I decided to crash onto an empty bed for the night...

Thanks for your review. First of all, we don take people from Kuching and we always check our booking until the last hour at 12 midnight and if your booking is done before that, we would definitely be there to wait for you, even if you arrive for check-in at 3 am. All the guests when they check-in, they all...

Frankie is verry helpfull and friendly giving a lot of good tips for place to go and to do in a cheap way. The hostell has a really nice common area and the breakfast is the best that we had during our 1 year Travel. Rooms are basic but clean with proper beds. You have a key to lock the...

After seeing all the 5* reviews we had high expectations about the nook guesthouse. When we arrived all expectations were fulfilled! The place had a homely feel and was cute and cosy with a nice social area. Franky seemed very nice and helpful and very chatty! HOWEVER... We had to pay more for a better room as she said she...

When you change a room, from a standard room to a window deluxe, the price is different, should you not pay for the change. You are not force to join the tour, if you are happy to go, well, go with the group and share the cost, we never force anyone to go anywhere, it is your right to decide....

What an amazing place! My first 5 star review has to be given here. Firstly the place itself. My girlfriend and I shared a double fan room by a window. It wasn't huge and I was at first unsure about sound due to the walls and ceiling not quite connecting. Not a problem and the shelving, ample hangers and floor...

Very centralized, friendly, cozy place to stay. Good price for a great place. Big space at the lobby for the students to do discussion. Enough rooms space for all the students to hang out. Friendly environment. Generous guesthouse, which was unexpected. Very happy with all the service and cares. Thank you from all of us.

Free breakfast in the morning and tasty. Thanks Franky for preparing the food. The guesthouse is quite clean and well-organized. I really like the kitchen, the hygienic place. If you want some beer, just take and write your name on the board. Great. I love this place.

THE NOOK is located off Jl Song Thian Cheok, just 'down the way' from the Secret Recipe that's across from 360XPRESS. The location is great: lots of food courts near-by, fruit vendors, convenience stores, bars (you can hear them), cafes, and Everrise. This guesthouse covers three floors. There's a very large and commodious lobby-reception-kitchen-lounge area: tv screen for DVD viewing...

Excellent location and the living area/kitchen is huge and a really nice place to relax. Franky is a wealth of knowledge about Malaysian Borneo, she very kindly kept our bags while we did a...
