We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Batik Boutique – everything from the welcome drink and intro by Jackie to all the wonderful attention and care Farhah and her collegues gave us in helping us plan our various outings. I am so pleased that we made Batik our ‘home-base’ in Sarawak. The rooms are lovely and the hotel is centrally located,...

We stayed about a third of our two-week Borneo trip at the Batik Boutique Hotel. My girlfriend picked it because after a 4-day trip to Batang Ai we wanted to ramp up the comfort level a bit, whilst still staying in an acceptable price range. I have to admit I was a bit disappointed at the first evening, because precisely...

The Batik Boutique is a small hotel with a big heart in the centre of Kuching. My room was generous in size with a huge comfortable bed and a big bathroom with a bathtub. My room faced a busy street but it was well insulated and noise was not a problem. The hotel is in a great location with great...

My wife and I stayed at The Batik Boutique for two short visits before and after a trip to a couple of rainforest retreats. It is ideally located for shops, bars and the Sarawak waterfront. The staff have to be amongst the most welcoming, friendly and helpful we have encountered over many years of travelling. Our bedroom and the bed...

A good hotel is worth coming back to. After our last great experience at Batik Boutique Hotel a few years ago, we decided to stay there again on our recent visit. The friendliness and cheerfulness of the staff have not changed. They welcome us back like old friends. The spacious room is lovely but needs a touch of refreshing and...

The service from staffs of the hotel is exceptional, you can even arrange free transfer to the airport from the hotel. The room I stayed in is quite roomy with a big bath tub inside the toilet. Room is very nicely designed. The location is good too.

The moment I entered into this hotel, I have been greeted with a very friendly staff. Felt so welcoming. All of the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Roughly, Everything was great to stay here. I love the shower room especially the bathtub! Some minor technical piping problems but thats nothing much to be bothered. The deco in the room...

The staff at this hotel are super friendly, knowledgeable about the town, full of good recommendations, and just in general awesome people. The rooms smell a slight bit old, and are slightly rough around the edges, but still pretty decent. The only real downside is that their internet is super slow, so don't expect to stream or download anything while...

The Batik Boutique Hotel is located close to the start of the waterfront, at the border of China Town. That means lots of things to do and great food just around the corner. The hotel room was spacious (we got an upgrade) and clean. A few discomforts (broken rain shower and fridge as well as a torn bedsheet) were quickly...

Nice soft people, they take care of you and the place is nice, clean and excellent location. They give you touristic tips, they know where to go all around town. The rooms were very nice and cozy. They have a good restaurant in the fist floor. Value for money.
