Was there during the Borneo International Marathon. Room: Clean, spacious king sized bed room. Small washroom. Super cold air conditioning (Super like! for crazy hot weather at KK). Coffee and tea provided with in room kettle. Downside: no mini refrigerator in the room. Free but unstable wifi connection. Location: Excellent. Nearby to all attractions especially Gaya Street Sunday morning market...

The Mandarin is in a very central downtown location, you can walk anywhere in town from there. The rooms (and beds) are rather small, but clean and modern. The staff is very friendly and helpful, available at the reception around the clock. It is not fancy or luxurious, but the value for the price and the location is great, so...

After spending a few nights on a deserted island with facilities that come with that experience, it was nice to arrive to a clean room with attentive staff. Stayed in a superior double which was a good size and I specifically asked for a "quiet room" which was at the back of the hotel so not to get noise from...

After our Kundasang trip, we headed to KK to stay at Mandarin Hotel for 2 nights. Pros: (1) Location of the hotel itself - Gaya Street...

Small boutique hotel in Jalan Gaya. Location is fantastic, walking to waterfront is convenient. Lots of eateries just around the street. Sunday morning market is right at hotel door step. Hotel Staff were polite and helpful, especially the level 5 house keeper. Room is spacious, clean toilet, good shower pressure. Bed is comfortable, except two pillows too soft. Only complain...

Very basic hotel, good only if you want a place where to sleep withouth spending much. It is located 15 minutes away from Jesselton Point and behind Gaya street. We had a superior king room, good size but very dark, as it featured only a small window. The staff was very kind and we were offered a free transfer to...
