Upon arrival we were just blown away by the size of the resort! it really is massive and quite stunning with it's high ornate rooves and marble everywhere... The room had a lovely seaview and a charming balcony to rest and unwind in at the end of a hard day's trekking in Kinabalu. Staff were very friendly and yet more...

Stayed with wife and 2 children (10 & 13 yrs). Had adjoining rooms at end of complex. 3 minute walk to restaurants and other facilities. Staff friendliness and helpfulness was exceptional. Sampled all the restaurants, food variety was fantastic, value very good for a resort. Read several reviews of the Nexus prior to leaving and started to have second thoughts,...

I was there for a three-day conference, the rooms and meals arranged by the client/host. Likes: wonderful long beach with gentle waves steadily rolling in from the South China Sea; beautiful, lush grounds; great airy lobby and common areas; nice lodge-style rooms with private balconies and big bathrooms; very quiet at night; KK airport is beautiful. Dislikes: no bank machine...

It’s been six months since our last visit to the Nexus Resort in Borneo and we can’t wait to get back. Our original purpose for visiting Borneo was to see the Orang-utans on a trip back from Hong Kong. It just so happened that as part of the Virgin package we stayed at the Nexus and were so impressed we...
