It's a good hotel with nice rooms. Neat and clean with basic facilities. The WiFi is little slow though and TV doesn't have much English channels except HBO and BBC. The breakfast is good and have variety. Location is quite good as it's walking distance for local food and handicraft market.

Stayed at Gaya Centre for 5 days and all I can say is that it we got more than our money's worth. The room was clean and complete with the basic necessities. The staff are all friendly and accommodating. The breakfast spread has enough choices and overall not so bad esp. for non-locals like us. And last but not the...

The front desk staff was not friendly but the worst is the room. Under maintained, the room was very old and dirty. There were dust and the furniture, such as cabinets were not intact. We were struggled with the electricity as the key wall slot could not detect the keycard unless I swipe in and out for about 20 times....

Room was average, there were stains on the carpet and loss of cold water on the 3rd day I was there(for a few hours). Walking distance to filipino market (craft market), about 10 minutes away. Right beside Suria Sabah Mall. Breakfast was decent.

The room was a bit musky and the carpets needed some cleaning. Also, the bathroom was also in dire need of cleaning .. so much so, my companion and I went to the mall next door, got ourselves some cleaning products and air freshener to scrub the shower clean and freshen the room. The shower stall got clogged during the...

Our holiday this year was interrupted by Typhoon Nida and our flight cancelled for 2 days. Our accommodation had already been prepaid. We sent many emails to the hotel regarding our situation. Getting a reply, well we had to request one. We find their service poor. We also requested a refund for the two days lost due to the Typhoon....

We arrived at the Gaya Centre hotel and were greeted by warm and friendly staff. We had lunch on the outdoor seating area which was very comfortable. We had chicken wings, fried rice and chips which were very yummy and washed down with some cocktails! The staff are very attentive and kind which was a lovely welcome to kota kinabalu....
