We stayed here two nights with breakfast included. Breakfast was cereal or toast and coffee, tea and juice but it worked for us. The hotel was very tired and run down but the service was excellent. Positives: shower worked well, aircon good, the beds were comfortable, good sized balcony, fridge worked fine and it was clean. Negatives: basic, tired and...

The positives : quiet in the evenings (but construction work next door ongoing each day 8am -6pm), consistent wifi, filtered water available in lobby, daily newspapers in the lobby, book exchange (but you give 2 books to get 1 in return), friendly staff, maps & local bus instructions if you ask at front desk, all staff speak English (to varying...

The location for this hotel is just near to most of the attraction places. price for the hotel is good with the friendly staff that they have. just that they need to do some renovation about the rooms. A renovation just opposite the hotel, might wake you up if you're sensative about noise.

We stayed for three nights in one of the nicer rooms at the front of the building. The room was large with a balcony overlooking Georgetown. The reviews are true in the sense that the hotel needs a huge makeover. It is old and outdated. Simple and cheap things that could be easily replaced such as a shower curtain are...

Stayed here for 7 nights while organising my Thailand visa. Booked a double room with balcony. On arrival was given a room with two single beds. I asked reception to change to a double room when available but did not happen Loud construction noise 10-12 hours every day from the building being built next door which does not look like...

I came here for the second time. This time they served wellcome fruit which is tangerine. The time for free breakfast is normally 7:30 to 10:30. If you like 2 eggs, you pay more 5RM. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Most of them are old aged people. It is also near Khoon pastry which served good hainanese chicken...

An ageing hotel currently with LOUD construction noise 8+ hours a day. I had requested a quiet room, but no joy. Staff efficient. Rooms smell of stale cigarette smoke, but aircon is efficient and room and bed clean. Breakfast uninspired but adequate. Overall, there are other nearby hotels which offer equally good downtown location and better value.

Double private room with en suite was very dated, bathroom had a damp problem and no ventilation, but room was clean enough and bed was fine. Nothing special and probably a little over priced but excellent location and helpful staff. Breakfast is white toast, cornflakes or cocopops, orange segments and tea/coffee/squash.

Firstly, be warned that there is major construction underway on two sides of this hotel; this didn't affect me on the first day (other than the view from my window - pic.3), but I was woken up the following morning by construction noise 👎👎 The location is ok, it's on the far end of town, so quite far from the...
