If you are traveling to the shipyard in or around Lumut then Sfora (The New Name of this Hotel) is for you. I read where there was Renovations, and found them still underway on the second floor, but I stayed on the 3rd floor, and found everything in the room to be new and completely renovated. The room was small,... More

This is an old hotel but it is generally clean. Wifi is available only In the lobby. It is currently under renovation so we expected something much better in future. The receptionist was slow in checking in and appeared rather unsure of his job. New staff? Nevertheless he was polite and recognised us very quickly later in the day. The... More

I was a bit wary when I checked in this hotel. Read a number of bad reviews about it but since we had no choice but to stay here (It was the closest hotel to the race site where I was going), I still booked the place for my overnight trip. To my surprise the hotel was not as bad... More

Pictures here show the old type CRT TVs but that has been replaced by plasma/lcd tvs now. Internet speed is decent, bed is comfortable, nice and slightly firm which I prefer. Hotel does provide... Stayed in two different rooms for two nights. Service Staffs were responsive in checking room availability and answering questions, but still relying on traditional paper and pen records. No further comment on that. Value RM110 for a standard room, with two single beds, necessary in-room facilities are there, but when you consider the quality of everything offered, you're paying more... More

The hotel staff at checking in were pleasant, helped with queries and gave me wifi key after upgrading to Deluxe room RM 120. All i can say if these are deluxe i pity the others. The room is dated to like 77 or very early 80's. Air con stopped working but after asking twice, once before we went for food... More
