For the price we paid (RM370/night) and the reputation that this hotel have (as it was previously Equotorial), it needs ALOT of improvement. The good: location, convenient parking, fast check in, friendly front desk. Good bed and pillows, big room. The bad: Very poor workmanship/ quality of room furnishing. there was a lot of dirty, mouldy edges at the wall...

The good stuff: The views from our 8th floor suite were simply amazing. The gym was well equipped. Staff very polite. The stuff that needs attention: Room was very large but "sticky" in places, it's all getting a bit tired. The food in the restaurant was very oily whatever you had and you are a bit stuck for options as...

We only got our room at around 3pm as we had requested for a smoking room. Managed to get a room with balcony on the #12 floor with an amazing view 😀 Everything was provided in the room so no complains at all. The only thing was that the lifts took a long time to arrive everytime.

The Copthorne is actually a nice hotel, it just felt a bit strange that there are just about no guests. Some of the offerings of the hotel are closed, probably because of the lack of guests. If you don't have a car, this is probably not the right place for you as it is far out of the town. The...

Friendly staffs, good location. Nearby has a mall where a famous steamboat located. Need to have maintenance as hotel quite old. When we checked in, the door unable to open, then the shower was out of order. All these were fixed immediately after made a call. Kids love the spaghetti and pizza served in the restaurant of this hotel.

We travelled as a family (with 2 young children), together with our friends. We booked a Three-Bedroom and Two-Bedroom apartments during our two nights stay. As we arrived at the hotel only about 11:00pm, they have already charged one night to the credit card I used for booking, thinking that we are not turning up. Anyway, there was no welcome...
