We stayed at the "Suria", the biggest one, for 4 nights last week. We went diving for 1 day. Other 3 days we rent one of her cars exploring the island(there are 3 cars). The Malay house was beautiful, quiet and cozy. I also enjoy The pool, gardens and reading-room. There is a beautiful dinning place with great breakfast every morning( they...

We stayed with two children in the Suria house for four nights in October and had a fantastic time. Fox Hill is really a beautiful place and by renting a car you can discover the island in your own way. Maria is a fantastic and host who took us to the nightmarket and gave us tips on resturants and sights...

Facilities: We stayed at the "Amin" chalet in Fox Hill for 3 nights recently. The Malay house was beautiful and very comfortable. Since we were travelling with a 1 yr old baby, Maria & her team thoughtfully put in a baby cot as well. The pool and gardens were in immaculate condition while the cozy reading-room made one feel like...

We enjoyed 5 nights in Jasmine House in July. Lovely, little, well maintained traditional house. Tuti fed us well. Breakfasts changed slightly and included great bread which was much appreciated after Indonesia. The dinners we had there were fantastic! A lovely setting and some of the best food we had. A car is needed to explore the island but Maria...

We stayed here at end of May 2012 for three nights to get that 'Malay experience', and we were delighted with our stay. The houses are beautifully kept, and immaculately clean and tidy - some may say a little basic, but that's probably what you should expect when going for something traditional. The bed was very comfortable, the houses had...

Our stay with Maria was really special. Our room was beautiful and traditionally decorated and the whole property was very charming. While it is not easy to get to/from here without transport, Maria rented us one of her cars for our stay, and having freedom to explore the island in this way was fantastic! Maria was lovely and always happy...

This review is fairly belated - we stayed for a week in February. We've previously stayed at Bon Ton and were hoping that Foxhill would be similar but without the ridiculous price tag! Whilst it doesn't have the price tag, it also doesn't have a lot of the luxuries, however we liked this and felt we had a really "authentic"...

What I loved most about foxhill was its setting... On a gentle hill overlooking rice fields where all you can hear is the sound of birds in the day and crickets at night. At first I was sceptical at staying 'off the beach', but while the beaches of langkawi are nice, they're not amazing so I'm so glad we didn't...

I can only echo what everyone has put on here. Don't bother staying at a large well know resort. A stay at Foxhills will reward you with authentic Malay houses - which are spotlessly clean and very comfortable and hospitatlity that is beyond compare. Maria and her team will welcome you with open arms The setting is superb - away...
