The resort is a mini jungle adventure resort near Johore Bahru. It has a golf course, swimming pool, spa centre, gym, billiard game area, children's play area, biking activities, adventure and team work activity.

The main building houses accommodation with varied sized rooms. We had booked a family room for 8 with four bedrooms. The rooms were well maintained but the seven storeyed building had only two lifts that could take about eight people maximum. On the day we went only one lift was operating and it could not cope for the season rush.Breakfast was good with continental and local items just as any star hotel. The staff were very friendly and hospitable.

There were a few halls used for multipurpose but we attended a wedding reception in the Kencanapuri Hall that could hold about 800pax.As facilities were away from the main hotel, buggy services were available.

The lush greenery gives a jungle within city limits experience. This is an ideal place for family where kids enjoy facilities no like biking which they can't do in the hustle and bustle of the cities.

In general it's a good place to relax, go physical and enjoy nature.Groups could come here for team building activities and we observed a Japanese primary School group doing just that.

Booked 4 separate rooms.
Rooms were quite spacious for a Junior Deluxe Bedroom, toilet clean but clogged sink, dusty drapes and some ants at minibar/pantry.
Staff not too accommodating. I wanted to make an outside local call to book a restaurant, room phone did not allow outside call so I had to ask help from reception. They said they had to bill me for a local call. What kind of hotel doesn’t have this service? They eventually allowed me to use their phone but with blank face.
Poor administration as some guest who just got out of the swimming pool and dripping wet also used the same lift for newly arrived guests. The lift and lift landing area were so wet.
Wifi was restricted after midnight. Had to call again reception to give you a new login and password.
Breakfast selection was so limited. Most are local dishes which did not look appetizing at all.

The room was big for me. I got the 1 bed room apartment at one of the building which i am not sure which wing or which building i am at. I was not been informed by the reception what other asset or building does Pulai Springs have in its area as it was a big place and i did not know where to go at the first place until i ask someone where to check in. The signboard or information was not enough. Check in was quick as i have pre booked the room and fill up a few information. Room condition was clean but maybe a bit outdated. Television channel can be improved with more cable or can used the free MY Freeview TV. I did not spend much time wondering the hotel since i cannot run the next morning due to heavy rain. Breakfast was served according to the time slot given about 45 minuets. Breakfast was ok but can be more exiting. Its still a good hotel in a very quite place.

Dear Guest, Thank you for sharing your feedback about your one-night stay at our resort in Johor. We're glad to hear that the room was spacious and met your needs. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the lack of information about the different assets or buildings within Pulai Springs. We appreciate your suggestion regarding the signboards and information, and we will review and enhance them to provide clearer guidance to our guests. We're pleased that the check-in process was quick and that the room was clean, although it may be slightly outdated. Your feedback regarding the television channels and variety is valuable to us, and we will explore ways to improve the viewing options for our guests, including the possibility of incorporating free MY Freeview TV. We understand that the heavy rain hindered your exploration of the hotel, but we're glad that you found the breakfast satisfactory, albeit with room for improvement. Your feedback about the breakfast selection will be taken into consideration as we continually strive to enhance our offerings. Thank you for considering us a good hotel in a quiet location. We appreciate your feedback and hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for a more enjoyable and fulfilling experience in the future. Best regards, Sunny Soo, General Manager

I'm not recommended this resort at all. On my visit time's I was deal directly with the reservations manager the guy name shahrul, his said to me that's on my business trip. His promise me to upgrading to better rooms for to stay. However as return his as me to give him a compliment. And promise me to give better rates for next visit if I'm return back to your resort. It's looks his so despite for an compliments and also his not a professional person as his position are reservations manager. I'm shock with his attitude. However the rooms his give it's was so terrible all the night's I can't sleep due to air conditioner are keep on hitting.. Not even cold at all. And the beds was so dusty. Bathroom smelling. It's was long time ago experienced. I just like beings called to share with trip advisor users becareful while dealing with staff at this resorts.

Checked in at 5 pm on 29.02.20. Place was welcoming, staff are friendly. Breakfast spread had a lot to choose from rice, cereal, oatmeal , bread and etc. Things that needs to be improved,
1) swimming pool needs to do maintenance as can be seen some missing tiles and algae.
2) buffet dinner needs to have more choices of food.
3) gave a listing and timing on the activities on every guest that checks in. For example like movie timing.

First thing everyone shared is the lack of toothbrush provided, they do sell them at the small shop at the lobby. They place was rather discreet and a looong walk out if you do not drive in, ie private hire or taxi.

Was also disappointed that the guard did not allow the grab shopping that we ordered to enter and leave our purchases at the lobby. Had to forgo our purchase with our delivery guy.

Furnishing was well maintained but rather outdated.

While its a looong walk out, we were rather relieved that there were restaurants within the resort compound and the Qing Palace restaurant that we visited had rather good ala carte buffet options.

The rooms were old, toilets were unclean with mould stains, gunk all around. There were smells coming out from the bathroom all the time; we had to buy disinfectants and air-freshener during our stay. There were lizard poop on the walls and the room was just very unclean. The extra bed they sent heavily reeked of funky smells and we found where they kept their extra beds (see photos). They charge RM10 for every extra towel , but they came with ants inside the folds. Their photos online are deceiving, do think twice before booking this resort.

Fun. A great place to stay as we had the room just in front of the pool. My kids enjoyed the stay though it rained but throughout it was amazing. The breakfsat was fantastic. The setback was only during the check in as the room was not ready so there was a slight delay.

Stay 3 nights in the 2-bedroom suit apartment. Horrible experience. The apartment was dusty, black moulds in the shower and bathroom ceiling. Rooms had cigarette and damp smell, furniture and door handles were broken, housekeeping was non existent. Staff tried their very best to change our rooms but alternative rooms were equally run down and dirty. The club house and pools were equally run down and neglected. This place had so much potential but have been left in disrepair. Unless the resort and hotel is refurbished and improve cleanliness, no point wasting your money here.

Your comments will help guide our ongoing efforts to improve and provide a better experience for our guests.
