Good vibes starting even before I check in. Made my booking online through Tune Hotel website and after payment I realized that I have inputted the wrong check in and check out dates. Even though the website says no cancellation or change allowed, I took a chance by calling the reservation desk. A gentleman by the name of Azraai answered my call and I explained my situation to him, he immediately assured me that there is no issue and he will make the changes to my original intended dates and will sent me a email confirming the changes with no additional charges and the email came within 5 minutes. Bravo Azraai for the amazing customer service. At check in, a lady by the name of Sonya attended to us and the whole process took less then 5 minutes, the same at check out by a gentleman Raven. Azraai, Sonya, Raven… you were simply amazing and I definitely will be back the next time I am in JB.
For the price I paid I have no complains but many compliments, there were complementary 2 bottles of water, air con, surprising even a ceiling fan as well, the shower and the beds were simply excellent. In my many travels, Tune Hotel Danga Bay facilities were on par or even better than some of the more established international chains which would cost me more than 200% extra in terms of pricing.
For the price I paid I have no complains but many compliments, there were complementary 2 bottles of water, air con, surprising even a ceiling fan as well, the shower and the beds were simply excellent. In my many travels, Tune Hotel Danga Bay facilities were on par or even better than some of the more established international chains which would cost me more than 200% extra in terms of pricing.

Staying in Tune Hotel Danga Bay reminds me of a precious time, time before Malaysia lockdown and all countries implementing travel ban due to the current difficult situation.
Before I start my review, let me thank Miss Stella, Sonya, Ezane, Bang Azraai, Kalai and Raveen. I’m sorry if I missed out anyone or spell the names wrong. The staff accomodated me on a daily basis, within the rules that are set in Tune Hotels chain brand. They tried hard and I really appreciate the service.
I would say this hotel will be an ideal choice, especially value for money choice if you want to be in reach of JB Sentral, Danga, Paradigm Mall and Legoland. You need to take Grab or local transport but the area is quiet if you try to avoid too many people.
The good thing about Tune Hotel is of course you get to enjoy the predictability of a chain hotel. With the price, I got to enjoy comfortable bed, fully working AC, TV, reasonably clean bathroom. If you stay in other hotels with this price, you will need to stay somewhere far from city centre, and maybe will get some funny surprises.
There are 2 affordable eateries in the complex. You have to walk 4 minutes to the middle of the Danga complex. First one is a Mamak place (BFJ Cafe), with typical Mee Goreng, Nasi Goreng and Indian dishes. Price range is RM4.5 for Mee Goreng last time. Another place is Nasi Sayur (Malay Mixed Rice) with price range of RM5-10 depending on you eat meat or not. Both places sell refreshing Orange or Carrot Juice.
There are also Maxis and other telco provider in the complex so if you need to buy local SIM card, it’s within walking distance.
To me this hotel exceeded my expectation and I hope you will share the same opinion too.

After the interstate has been lifted, I traveled to Johor to meet my client and my always choice is tune hotel because the price is really competitive with the service and the room is always exceed my expectations. The location quite good. Near to the city and not so far from the airport. My room 513 and the cleanliness is superb, bed is comfortable, toilet clean and smell fresh. Housekeeping is very helpful and responsible especially the one named ezane, she contact with me just few minutes after my checkout, to inform tht Im left my 2nd phone and the powerbank too. Luckily manage to turn bck hotel asap. Thumbs for being a honest person. Definitely will recommend this hotel to my clique👍🏼👍🏼

Stayed here with my husband yesterday night back from Singapore. Room cleanliness is satisfied, the front desk chinese lady was polite, greeted me by my name ! 👍🏻 We just stayed here 1 night, so everything is just fine but if they can provide a simple coffee maker it will be much more better.
