Stay in a 3-Bedroom unit in The Sausana All Suites JB over the weekend and had a wonderful experience.
The first impression entering the hotel is that it is Modern, Luxury, Clean and more important, feel safe and sanitised. There was a video played all over the hotel, from lobby, to lifts to guestroom and I was told all the actors and actress are the staff members. Well done. Hand Sanitiser is placed in most of the public area, easy for guests to use. Very thoughtful from the management, especially during this pandemic.
Check in experience was very efficient and the staff were well trained and very helpful. Asked for extra amenities and was sent in a few minutes. Our suite was located on the 32nd floor and had probably the best view you can find in Johor Bharu. The suite is properly maintained and cleaned. The kitchen set up has all the necessity for all of us to have breakfast in the suite. One of my family member stayed in a similar level of hotel suites the week before and was amazed how luxury Sausana Suite is and how complete the amenities are in the suite.
From my previous stay, they added a Restaurant/SkyBar on the top floor and the unobstructed view is amazing. A perfect place for a relax meal. The hotel location is centrally located, just across from JBCC and City Square and easy access from all major highway.
Overall, we had an excellent stay at Sausana Suites JB and would strongly recommend for those who travel to JB. They have different room types to fit your travel needs, either travel for business by yourself or travel with family.

Location spot on. Friendly counter staff. Spacious apartment. Clean room. Good street view. Near amenities. Parking available. Reasonable daily rate.
Recommendations:
The hand towel hanger should not be placed directly above the toilet bowl, it should be placed away from it.
A portable retractable magnifying face round mirror should be installed for facilitating ie shaving.
More varieties for breakfast spread.
After every 9 accumulated day stays 1 free night stay should be offered to the guest as an appreciation.

Was looking forward to staying at Suasana for a while now. Finally managed to book a stay with breakfast at a decent price.
Check-in was fast and was allocated a single bedroom at a requested high floor (the rooms are all at the high floor anyway).
The layout of the room was very nice and full furnished like a single bedroom shoebox condominium showroom. I noticed that there were hairs on the floor of the living room.
The bedroom is of a decent size. The king size bed is actually two twin combined to one. The sheets were clean but to my dismay, beneath the duvet were two strains of long curly hairs.
The bathroom had an attached wardrobe. I was again disappointed when I noticed that the bath and face towels given were worn and off. white and the bathrobe looks old too.
It was also unfortunate that the shower head was broken which let to a low pressure shower water.
Since I was staying for a night, I didn't call to voice my displeasure.
Breakfast is at the 33a floor (guess the hotel hates the number 4). There were only 3 choices to choose from. I selected the Lontong which came with a large piece of chicken. When I slice the chicken, the flesh was still red and with blood. I told the waiter about it and he hurriedly took it away. He asked if I wanted another one but I couldn't bring myself to say yes as I think the rest of the it would be half cooked too. Aside from bread, cereal and fruits, there was nothing else. Definitely not worth paying extra for the breakfast.
At the end of the stay, I must say I was quite disappointed with the overall standard of the hotel

Upon checking in we was told there would be a 30min delay because the room was not ready. We ended up waiting for 2 whole hours. Hotel offer late checkout as a compensation for our inconvenience. Hearing this its no wonder the reception is full of customers waiting for their rooms and demanding explanation. After we got to the room at 6pm, we found out the whole hotel was having issue with water pressure, this resulting to cleanliness issue with the toilets. Even the cups and plates was not properly cleaned. Be it because the rush to clean room by the staff or low water pressure, who knows at this point. We argue for not wanting a late checkout as it only prolonged the rooms turnover issue and demanded for free breakfast instead. That was a disappointment to say the least, from the overall lack of flavour and lack of staff resulting to constant dirty plates on the surrounding table and late replenish for the breakfast settings. On to the the amenities provided during the stay, we were struggling with the toothbrushes as it bends and twisted during use and the bristles falls with every stroke. We had cheap toothbrushes before and this made them looked like mid range. For the price I’d say its not worth it, not even close. Its rare for us to give 1 star rating but i guessed miracle do happen. Lets just say we will be looking for alternatives in the future.

It is with deepest regrets that I have to post my very first unhappy review across all reviews that I've ever given.
Checking in at only 9pm - Means that the hotel should have ample time to check and ensure that all rooms are kept at the minimum standards of cleanliness that all hotels and suites should be able to adhere to.
It is with horror especially during Covid times to find these in a room that I have just checked in. - Dirty chairs which seemed like stains from chocolates/dark materials, sofa that is stained with oil stains? And 2 pieces of toilet paper on the toilet roll in the master bedroom.
This is really appalling!
We have contacted housekeeping which informs us that they will come up to the room within 5 minutes however we have waited for a good half an hour at least with the reception assuring us that they will be coming up in 5 minutes each time we give the reception a call.
It is with the greatest disappointment that I am writing this and I'm sure the hotel can do better than this.

Thank you to Suasana for having us. The suite is spacious n neat. It has separate bedroom, living room, kitchenete, balcony and make up room which attached to the bathroom. It can occupy more than the number mentioned for the room. Comfy bed, fluffy pillow and good temperature in the room make you hardly to wake up from the bed. I can even cook for dinner as the kitchen provides basic utensils. It also has kettle, microwave, fridge and toaster. However, the breakfast was not really recommended because u can get cheaper to save your money if you bring many members. It was scrumptious but i bet u can get better price for the menu they served. It wasnt a buffet and limited main coarses (only 4). The hotel is very closed to Komtar, JBCC and angry bird park. Just few minutes walk away. I am surely will stay again.

This is my 3rd stay with Suasana. Booked 2 Single Suites for 02 days with my family. Notice some of the issue was resolved (unlike my past stay):- 1. There is a microwave oven provided now in the Single suites. 2. There are no more sewage smell from the drainage system inside the bath room.
Encounter some lapse in service this time:- 1. The Water Jar in one of the room was broken. Item was removed by the housekeeping team but no replacement was done. The other room do not even have a Water Jar. 2. No housekeeping (for both rooms) was done throughout my stay. 3. The exhaust fan in the bathroom is noisy when switched on.
Nonetheless, i would still says it is a good staycation.

I was staying there with my school friends whom are all mommies who needs a time out. Check in was a breeze and our 1 Bedroom Apartment was really clean (all mommies were really impressed).
The room view was facing JB Town, we brought our own karaoke mic using the TV set as computer, 7 Eleven was just on the Ground Floor. Just a walking distance to Komtar JBCC.
will comeback here next month for another mommy day out! Plus mommies can cook in the room with their induction cooker (another plus point).

We had reserved the 2-bedroom apartment for 4 adults and a 4 years old. Had visited this hotel for a 4 nights stay. Location is premium as it is conveniently located close to the shopping malls.
Apartment was average. No toiletries was provided and floor was dirty with hairs and dust. My child's toy had dropped under the sofa and we had to push the sofa aside to get it. To our dismay, we were shocked to see lumps of hair, dusts and tissue paper under the sofa.
It was a rainy season and we encountered leaking in the living room's window. We alerted the Engineering Team and was informed that this usually happens when it rains. We placed a towel so to contain it but Housekeeping did not change the towel and left it there until the day we checked-out.
Breakfast was a bad choice. Very limited options. We strongly recommend breakfast at Amani Hotel (opposite Suasana).
