This is an absolutely outstanding hotel in a fabulous location, with great amenities, great staff (including highly knowledgeable guides), wildlife right outside your door, excellent food, comfort, beauty and everything you could want. Figure out how long you want to book for and double it. Cedric the manager and his family have protected this area for 150 years, with lemurs,...

Anjajavy is hard to beat. The chalets on the beach are superb with every possible need taken care of. The service and staff are wonderful, the restaurant caters for all needs to an exceptionally high standard. The wildlife and birdlife are tapping at your door; lemurs at breakfast and tea, birds of many species in the surrounding hectares of land...

this small and intimate property occupying a beautiful peninsula, run by cedric is nothing short of amazing! The resort seems to be so unobtrusive, that it is as frequently visited by insects, birds, lemurs as human guests, and the living together results in harmony personified. Now add in beautiful well trained staff in every category from food, to drinks, to housekeeping, to...

Madagascar has so much beauty, but travelling around exposes every visitor to the extremes of poverty and the damage done by humans. Arriving at Anjajavy and being greeted by Cedric with his passionate views on bio-diversity and the support for local villagers, including employing as many as possible in the hotel was the start of our wonderful visit. The accommodation...

This resort is extremely beautiful and a rare find in this world. The staff here is a group of the most professional, kind, happy and willing people I have ever found in my travels. The resort is in the middle of a forest reserve which is home to many different lemurs. We watched them in the trees and hopping across...

When our plane landed on the strip of sand we were greeted by Cedric who takes it upon himself to get to know each guest individually. His enthusiasm and passion for wildlife and conservation was immediately apparent. The jeep drive to the resort took about fifteen minutes including a quick stop to look at the Baobab grove. The welcome at...

This was our last stop on our visit to Madagascar. After Tana and Air Madagascar this was the perfect end to our visit. When we landed we met the guests who were flying back to Tana on the return flight. Two couples had been "forced" to stay an extra four days because of the Air France strike. They were complaining...

My wife and I have been to hundreds of resorts and hotels around the world and Anjajay by far is the best overall experience we have ever had. From the moment we arrived at the airport for our flight to Anjajavy and until we returned, the level of service in every aspect was incredible. First class/five stars all the way....

My husband and I stayed at Anjajavy four years ago and when we decided to go back to Madagascar for another trip we knew it was non negotiable that we had to finish up here again! We rarely go to hotels twice, not abroad anyway, but we are really hoping that we can have a third visit here, and not...
