Madagascar has so much beauty, but travelling around exposes every visitor to the extremes of poverty and the damage done by humans. Arriving at Anjajavy and being greeted by Cedric with his passionate views on bio-diversity and the support for local villagers, including employing as many as possible in the hotel was the start of our wonderful visit. The accommodation...

This resort is extremely beautiful and a rare find in this world. The staff here is a group of the most professional, kind, happy and willing people I have ever found in my travels. The resort is in the middle of a forest reserve which is home to many different lemurs. We watched them in the trees and hopping across...

When our plane landed on the strip of sand we were greeted by Cedric who takes it upon himself to get to know each guest individually. His enthusiasm and passion for wildlife and conservation was immediately apparent. The jeep drive to the resort took about fifteen minutes including a quick stop to look at the Baobab grove. The welcome at...

This was our last stop on our visit to Madagascar. After Tana and Air Madagascar this was the perfect end to our visit. When we landed we met the guests who were flying back to Tana on the return flight. Two couples had been "forced" to stay an extra four days because of the Air France strike. They were complaining...

My wife and I have been to hundreds of resorts and hotels around the world and Anjajay by far is the best overall experience we have ever had. From the moment we arrived at the airport for our flight to Anjajavy and until we returned, the level of service in every aspect was incredible. First class/five stars all the way....

My husband and I stayed at Anjajavy four years ago and when we decided to go back to Madagascar for another trip we knew it was non negotiable that we had to finish up here again! We rarely go to hotels twice, not abroad anyway, but we are really hoping that we can have a third visit here, and not...

We have been lucky enough to stay in a number of luxury beach resorts around the world, but this one is our favourite by far.The rooms are comfortable and luxurious, there is good quiet AC when you need it.( It was already on for our arrival, a considerate touch) Fresh flowers in the room, reliable free wifi, and coffee making...

We came to rest up after rigorous safari and we were not disappointed. Every aspect of resort is beautiful especially the "Oasis" where tea is served every afternoon and where the lemurs come and play in the trees above you. They are so delightful and it is such a treat to see them up so close. sometimes they play on...

My husband and I had an absolutely amazing two weeks at this wonderful hotel on a nature reserve in June 2014. We were celebrating our silver wedding anniversary, and couldn't possibly have found a better way to celebrate! Landing at "Anjajavy International Airport" and being met by the welcoming manager, Cedric, gave us a taste of the experience we were...

As we flew over the area we knew we were in for a holiday of a lifetime and that is what we got. It started with a personal greeting from Cedric the manager followed by a guided trip back to the resort. A warm and friendly greeting on arrival with cool drinks before being shown to our beautiful wooden villa...
