I found this quite convinient hotel. It needs some renovation soon, but in June 2017 it was still okay. The staff is hospital and friendly. Traveling with limited budget this was a perfect choise around Malindi.
We had a wonderfully relaxing time at the Driftwood Club. The hotel is right on a lovely stretch of beach. The food was excellent and the service was good. Roger Sylvester, the owner, was an exceptionally congenial and entertaining host.

What a pleasant change to the Italian dominance of Malindi. Amazing atmosphere and excellent location. Roger is an amazing host and we enjoyed the company of the local expats. I would recommend the Driftwood Beach club to any traveller
