Small family hotel not far from the airport on the main road into Malindi. Clean facilities, friendly staff, great value. Cheap and easy transport available nearby in the form of tuk tuks. Breakfast is the only meal served. No room service or drinks available.

Spent a couple of nights at Joys Villa in Malindi and was taken away. It is just far enough from downtown Malindi to ensure a quiet and serene environment without being too distant from the main public transport terminus and shops. The rooms are comfortable, chic and spacious. The decor is simple yet tastefully done. Joy and Bob were fantastic...

I stayed at Joysvilla for 4 days during my time in Malindi with a colleague. We were fortunate enough to have the place to ourselves and it was a thoroughly enjoyable stay. The staff were welcoming and friendly and went out of their way to help while we were there, even bringing in a portable air conditioner when my colleague...

A great budget location, very clean, friendly owners. Pool was nice. Rooms looked new and very tidy. Very good money spent . It would be nice to have had air conditioning . It was a bit hot to sleep in December. I recommend it.

We mostly eat fruit and vegetables, so we venture out into the noisy, crowded city of Malindi to get the apple mangoes, goya mangoes, papayas, bananas etc....
