We stayed here for two nights at the beginning of our safari trip. What a great place to start. Johan and Lori are very welcoming. The staff, our waiters were Stanley and Domenic, are very well trained, friendly and thoughtful. We enjoyed spending time in the bar and dining room with other guests. We enjoyed our tent, the view of... More

Tortilla Camp is adjacent to Amboseli National Park with a view of Kilimanjaro. The Camp is a swath of green in the otherwise dry, brown environs this time of year. We were met at the Amboseli airstrip by a gentleman who was our guide for our 2 night/3 day stay. A Masai, he is professional guide who works for Tortilis.... More

This camp is in the Amboseli game park. The bar area is large and well stocked with any and almost all the complimentary drinks you could ask for. The view from the bar looks directly towards a watering hole for the animals. Across from the bar, with a great view of the camp as a whole, is the restaurant. The... More

Tortilis Camp was an excellent beginning to our safari in September. The camp has a wonderful location with terrific views of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Game drives were amazing but there was always game at the waterhole easily viewed from the restaurant/bar area. The food was very good with a strong Italian influence. Great views from the camp - Mt Kilimajaro right in front of our eyes directly from our tent - very good food and nice staff. Thanks to our excellent guide, Joseph Cheke, we watched and learned a lot about animal behaviour and had some of the best game drives ever.
