I liked the vintage feel of the hotel, yet it was absolutely clean, fresh, and a comfortable stay. The breakfast was also grand and delicious. I liked that there is a driving range (golf) and a water park on-site as well. The only down side was the distance to the closest train station -- not an issue if you're coming by car.
I stayed in suite room with my family (Grand parents and my family including 3 years doughter). Room is enogh space for family. Dinner is Japanese and European mix style, we enjoyed it so much. There is one big bath, size is not so big compare to hot spring, but we can enjoy it like small hot spring. There is one convince store near by (walking distance). Staff's service is good. I want to come back again soon.
I am a Hong Kong visitor who visited Kochi in April 2018. I left my bracelets in the hotel and they post them to me from Japan! Their staff are really kind. Besides the great services, the view and hot spring there are really good too. I highly recommend this hotel for travelers who want to go to Kochi.
Stayed here while walking the 88 Temple Pilgrim Trail after Temple 30 .We spent one day of rest here after nine tiring days of walking. Very comfortable hotel, good restaurant The Antiques (delicious meals!), helpful staff with whom we could communicate in English - especially Ms Ito and Mr Sanoda at the front desk . Recommended.
Recently my wife and I were hosted by relatives to a banquet and stay at the Sanpia Chres a wonderful resort style hotel complex that boasts a golf facility,an outdoor water park and a restful outdoor public bath. I do not know the costs but I suspect it was expensive. About thirty of us attended a sumptuous 15 course banquet and then my wife and I retired to a lavish 60 square meter suite. The resort is really on the edge of Kochi city's downtown and the amount of English used is minimal but the accommodations and food were well worth it and I enjoyed pounding some golf balls at the driving range in the morning while my wife enjoyed coffee in the clubhouse with friends. Kochi is famous for hospitality and this hotel is most hospitable!
