Had a very good day the the team and had Avery good service although all staffs were polit anyway had a perfect day with them and the ambience was good and was a fine place to get relaxed . All my family loved the service with was given by them. Thank you for the service
Stayed here for almost 20 days during my business trip to Cochin. The property is well maintained. The rooms are elegant and orderly. The bathroom was clean and hygienic. The breakfast was simple but delicious. The staff are very polite and sincere. Right from the front desk to housekeeping and room dining, they do their best to make your stay comfortable. The Panthal cafe located along with the hotel offers a unique menu with high standards. All together it was a pleasant stay and worth every penny. Strongly Recommended.
We had an overnight stay here enroute from Takamatsu through the Iya Valley on our way to Uchiko and Matsuyama. The hotel easy to find and has car parking available. Our room was spacious enough but the bed a bit too hard for me, my husband found it ok though. The price was fair. We found the staff to be friendly and accommodating. It was a convenient stopover hotel.
I was put up at this hotel for a conference next door at the community center. The lobby is spacious, the staff were courteous, and made attempts to communicate using English. Access to the room floors can be an issue as there are only 2 elevators (plus 1 more for access to the function rooms and top floor restaurant) servicing 22 floors. The room is clean and fairly spacious by Japanese standards, and everything was in working order, though I do get a feel that most things are a bit dated. As it is centrally located, access to the tram station is only a few hundred metres away, the airport express bus stop is a few more away. There are taxis waiting at the entrance during the day. Buffet breakfast spread is great and the Japanese food is delicious. I did not check out the gym facilities, as we were walking about 5 to 10kms daily exploring Kochi. …
Lovely hotel in a central location. Rooms were large for Japan standards . Clean serviced well and a great bathroom . Comfortable beds and wonderful views of the mountains and city from our room on the 14 th floor . Buffet breakfast wasn’t cheap( approx $30AUD each) but full of a terrific selection of Asian and western foods - the view from the restaurant is spectacular . Would defiantly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kochi wonderful stay
This is a lovely luxurious hotel beside a canal. Our room was spacious, stylish and very comfortable. The highlight was the breakfast on the 22nd floor with a huge and outstanding array of delicious Japanese and Western food, including local specialities such as hat bread, and a cook's station for eggs and soup. The views over the city to the hills are magnificent. The hotel is a little out from the centre and there don't seem to be any nearby restaurants (though there is a convenience store a short walk away). But it is near a tram stop and only a couple of stops down the line takes you to many options. Highly recommended.
The hotel is very nice, I do not know how to speak Japanese, when I arrive at the hotel the carpark attendant was very helpful though he too only understand a little bit of English. The room was clean, the breakfast was excellent. I especially like their Tosa black tea a local product. The hotel is situated within walking distance to the Kochi castle and museum. Furthermore the hotel provided a Handy phone in the room you can make local and international call free of charge, you could use google map on the phone. On a whole I have very pleasant stay
This high-end hotel is near the tram and a short ride from the city centre and JR Station. Rooms are comfortable and well-furnished. They have a nice breakfast buffet with spectacular views from their 22nd floor restaurant.
The Hotel Nikko never disappoints. I made my reservation using an Expedia deal last minute for a Saturday night when most (cheaper) options I would normally have gone with were sold out. In true Nikko fashion, I was graciously greeted at check in, and upgraded to a larger room on a high floor The location is along the river with spectacular views West over the western neighborhoods and mountains. The buffet breakfast is exceptional. A large, diverse spread of fresh, high quality locally sourced ingredients made into delicious Japanese and Western salads, breakfast foods, etc. People go back for 3rds and 4ths. My favorites included the Yuzu juice, Mango pudding and Chefs special recipe curry rice. And of course the local Katsuo Tatami (seared bonito). But everything looked beautiful and tasted delicious. And the view through the walls of glass from this 22nd floor restaurant cannot be beat! The onsen is nice, includes a dry sauna, and is the perfect way to refresh from a long day of running around town and nearby areas in the muggy heat I added a second night, because I loved my room and view, but ESPECIALLY so I could enjoy another leisurely, filling breakfast!…
High-end hotel located next to river but a bit away from city centre (15-20 mins. walk). Got a room on high floor with nice river view, modernly and neatly furnished with sitting area and work bench, considered a good sized room. Staff was helpful and friendly.
