Location of this hotel is extremely good as it is close to monorail station, family mart, shopping centre, Kokusai Street and the meeting place for one day tour. Hotel is clean and tidy despite the room is quite small same as most of the hotels in Japan. Hotel offered free hotspring which is an added value facility. There is also a room at lobby where you can have a short break with free drinks or coffee provided. Hotel staff are nice and helpful. Will definitely recommend this hotel to friends and relatives.
A wonderful hotel with excellent service staff, clean rooms and great facilities. The room is small and typical of Japanese hotels but our room on the 12th floor had a nice view of the area. We liked that the rooms were really clean and the amenities were all new. Not to mention the onsen which we could soak in after a long day. The hotel provides daily parking at 1100 yen and the parking is at the back of the hotel where the automated system parks the car for you. Hotel is a 5 min walk from kokusai dori and just beside ryubo departmental store. Also a family mart just right outside. Will def stay here again!
Almont Hotel Naha is good location cover Shopping street and Yui Rail station. Room space is nice and comfortable. Bed is good and you can use public bath onsen here. Nice staff support and friendly. Ryobo Department Store is near also.
Nice, clean and friendly. Good located with easy access to the international tourist street and the arcades. Rooms a big bigger than the typical Naha hotels and with a spa on the 12th floor, Almont Hotel is just a notch more attractive. And a brilliant breakfast buffet. Japanese style. Healthy, hearty and tasty. We will come back.
Strategically located near the Kokusai st, which is the main tourist st. It’s next to Ryubo dept store. This hotel is very clean with a friendly and helpful staff. There is also a family mart attached to the hotel.
We had a wonderful stays in this modern hotel for 6 nights & we must say that this is one of the very few hotels that provide full Onsen services in Naha. The location of this hotel is superb as one will only take less than 5 mins walk to Okinawa ever popular shopping street Kokusai-dori. There are 2 convenient stores near the hotel & the railway station is just within walking distance from the back of the hotel. Their staff are very helpful & they speak good English. The hotel offers Japanese tea , coffee & juices to its house guest for free after 2pm. Famous restaurants & shopping mall are very close to the hotel & one need not worry about being bored strolling around the hotel vicinity. Will surely comeback to this hotel again for my next Okinawa vacation.
The hotel was conveniently placed near the mono-rail station and the Kokusai Dori. The rooms were very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I really appreciated the small perks of the hotel such as: free ice cream, the lounge with coffee, tea and juice, the clean towels hanged on the door in a nice bag when you leave the 'not disturb' sign, the little origami in the room, the laundry room, pajamas and the free umbrellas. Given that Japanese hotel rooms are small, I recommend a double room for couples, there is more space this way.
We are a family of 5 ( including 2 teens and a tween) and we took 2 twin rooms at Almont Naha for 3 nights in June 2019. We love this hotel: 1) Superb onsen experience. Almont has gender separated artificial hot spring, and the facility opens from 4 pm till 2 am, and starts again at 6 am till 10 am. Female facilities are password protected and passwords change daily. The water quality is really good, and we enjoyed our daily dips at the end of the day. We hardly touched our own bathrooms in the rooms. Use of the onsen is included in the rate. Toiletries provided and makes it superbly convenient. 2) Location: Of course, having to find a good, modern city hotel with onsen/public bath experience which is centrally located in Naha is not easy. Almont is the best located and represents good value for money; we did not park at their facility, but thought the 24-hour multi-storey car park opposite the hotel was reasonable enough (1200Yen for 24 hours). Access to their main shopping street at KokusaiDori is less than 5 minutes away. And Ryubo, Naha's only major department store left after Mitsukoshi exited several years back, is located right next door, in Palette Kumoji, with great local produce, albeit more up market than AEON or MaxValue - different selection! Upon check out, our taxi to the airport was around Y1000, and 10 mins journey only. My husband and I walked back to the hotel after returning our car back to Times Car Rental the day before - took us 40 mins for leisurely walk (~2 km). 3) Food: We did not try the food at Almont as our rate did not include breakfast. But there was plenty of food in the area, and we had a fantastic breakfast at Afternoon Tearoom on Level 2 in Palette Kumoji. We appreciate very much Almont's refreshments during the day though - very thoughtful to include refillable beverage from 2 pm to 10 pm. 4) Other Pluses - * Coin Laundry - major plus and in fact, indispensible for a travelling family. Minimal cost. * Smoke free throughout the hotel * strong wifi and enough charging points for our numerous devices * nice, modern room design and comfortable beds. (For stays of longer than 3 nights I would think the lack of storage space might be an issue if you have a lot of clothes, but we travel as the locals do and make extensive use of their laundromat, so we found it ok) * comfortable beds! * very polite reception, professional, fast and good English! Thank you very much for a fantastic stay. We enjoyed being so comfortable, despite the small size of the room. It is a value-for-money proposation! ありがとうございました!…
First time in Naha and wanted to stay somewhere near to a monorail station and walking distance to Kokusai Dori Shopping Street. Read all the reviews on Almont Hotel Naha and decided to book a 3 nights stay. I was not disappointed by the reviews! From the street, the hotel could easily be missed but if you were to look across the monorail station Prefecture Office, you will see the name of the hotel and just walked towards it. Along the street, the hotel entrance is next to Family Mart which came into handy for late night snacks and simple breakfast. Like what most of the reviews mentioned, there were free refreshments provided at the lobby area and because it was summer the hotel had ice Popsicles prepared for hotel guests at the lobby too. Room was really nice with a small sofa and a bed bigger than single or super single. This is a really nice place to stay if it's your first time in Naha, not driving but would like to get around easily via monorail or on foot. Highly recommended!…
Conveniently located near Kokusai St and monorail. Clean hotel with friendly service. Stayed in a Semi-double room which was quite small but cosy. Parking was ¥1000 per night located at the back of the hotel. Complimentary drinks provided on the ground level next to reception.
