The room was clean and the staff was very friendly, but in our room it was extremely loud, because of the traffic outside. Furthermore, the smell in the room was very bad. What we appreciated was the washing machine and tubler, which you can use the whole day.

Only a few minutes' walk from Hakata station. The lounge is stocked with lots of interesting things. Generally clean with comfortable beds. Great staff, too. Very helpful with everything. Best hostel stay I've had so far.

The reason why we rate this as "Poor" is because we found mold in the airconditioning. I suffer from mold allergy and therefore rate it as such, to warn others who are allergic to mold as well. When we mentioned the mold to the staff when we checked out, they didn't seem to see it as a problem, and didn't...

It is a hostel, which meant sleeping in bunk beds for the 4 of us. The room was small, but comfortable and just what we needed at the end of a long day of touring around. The staff was outstanding, very friendly and helpful. They have toast and tea/coffee for free in the morning. A kitchen was available to refrigerate...

This hostel is located in a quiet part of Hakata. We arrived at Hakata station on 12th Feb 2016 after 9pm. We followed the map and walked through the quiet and dimly lit small road leading to the bridge and the main road. We would recommend a slight deviation to the directions especially in the night. Please refer to the...

Coming from Korea I spent my first night in Japan at this hostel. It's a very nice place with extremely helpful staff, speaking good English. Room (4 bed dorm) with attached bathroom was clean and big enough. Close to Hakata station and lots of restaurants. Small kitchen area to prepare food and nice lounge area. Lots of info what to...

I stayed here 21-23rd of October (so am checking out today) after my arrival in Japan/Fukuoka. Great place to stay! Staff is friendly and helpful. There's free toast in the morning. There's a suggested 1day trip with public buses I did yesterday. It's exhausting haha but a great way to see most of Fukuoka! A lot of walking too, so...

I stayed there for 3 nights from 16th to 18th. The room is clean. All staff are nice and helpful especially Shizuru (I can't remember the name exactly). I had a problem with my baggage to send to Hiroshima via Yamato transport. Shizuru helped me to write a note to 7-11 staff in Japanese due to Family mart (near our...
