Single room maybe a bit small but rather appreciate the large bathroom with a TV. Hyatt touch - cool and sleek design without looking cheap or tacky. Swimming pool and spa facility were also great. Thick carpet and plentiful amenities. Overall, very civilized and great value.

I have stayed here many times. This is my favorite Fukuoka hotel. It is super modern and unique with great service. I love the lobby, rooms and convenience to Canal City with many things to see, eat and do. The rooms are quite unusal, with rice paper bathrooms, tub and all glass sinks and shower. The breakfast restaurant has the... More

Very comfortable rooms and price is quite reasonable. Had a large king room, bed was very comfortable and lots of closet space. Bathroom was gorgeous and toiletries were good quality. Everything was conducive to relaxation. Breakfast buffet was fine, enough choices to please many different preferences. The location offers lots of options being right in Canal City; restaurants, shops, "Ramen... More

Everything was perfect at this stay. This hotel is adjacent to a very well executed shopping mall and close by to many small restaurants (just don't be surprised that it is also next to a red-light district...). Despite having booked the room using reward points we were not shunted off to a back-room and found a Welcome note from the... More

This hotel will be even better if all staffs really understand ENGLISH and not pretend that they understand English.

I stopped over in Fukuoka for 1 night and stayed at the Grand Hyatt based on good reviews and location next to Canal City shopping area. Location wise it's reasonable - nearby a large shopping complex whereby restaurants are abundant, shops are varied and good and still walkable distance to the Fukuoka/Hakata train station (~ 10 minutes walk). I also... More

Fukuoka grand hyatt Stayed here a few times on layovers for work, the hotel is typical grand hyatt standards except for the pool charge (see below) Very friendly and helpful staff though Concierge could use more English lessons, like most Japanese people, they understand what you are asking but cannot reply back in English. Do request for a room with... More

It is worth the paying for the Club Room. If you can use the club for Breakfast and Evening Cocktails it's worth paying the additional cost for the Club Floor. Wonderful Pool and Spa Area. As most hotel rooms in Japan the rooms are not "Large", but they are very attractive. Modern clean lines and very comfortable. Great Location attached... More

I have stayed in this hotel numerous times. My 60 y.o. mother's favorite and I like it fine, but I think the location is a bit too far from a station. We usually take a cab btw this hotel and Hakata station, takes about 10-15 min and costs about 3,000 yen. Nakasu kawabata station is the closest, but you still... More
