A great place with an awesome location! Rooms are largish (Japan standard), with comfy beds, pajamas and bedroom slippers, and an array of lotions etc for use. Bellboys and front staff were warm and sincere. The only one with a BBC channel we found in our 10 days on Kyushu. Location in the center of shopping, just 300M away from... More

A bit of an older hotel. The location, next to the train station, absolutely cannot be beaten. There is plentiful shopping in the area, with plenty of nice restaurants. Also near an arcade for the kids. Rooms are a bit on the small side but very clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Good location and easy walk to bus stops and Hakata station for train and food/shops. Found Dean & Deluca in the AMU Plaza, Hakata – cappo 380 yen [the one in Tokyo doesn’t serve coffee]. Short walk to Canal City. Longer walks to Tochoji Temple, Tenjin area and Ohori Park. Bus to Fukuoka Tower for some great views. 2 hour... More

The hotel is just a 5 minutes walk from the JR Hakata station. You can also get out from the subway station, there is an exit just next to the main entrance of the hotel. This is good during extreme weather but I will prefer going out from the JR station to have a look around, especially when there is... More

The hotel is just five mins walk from the station and shopping mall. Starbucks and 7-11 convenient store are just downstairs, very convenient. Room is spacious when compared to other hotels in Japan, the triple room is fab and can accommodate three luggages. Bathroom is clean and spacious. Concierge is very helpful, the team helped us to make reservations with... More

Based on the location near Hakata station and it's business style appearance and price I chose the Nikko hotel for my stay in Fukuoka. The location is very close to Hakata station so if you're arriving by train it's a good option. The quality of the room however is basic. It lacks the ambiance a regular 4/5 star business hotel... I stayed here with 3 other family members in two separate rooms. Perhaps the hotel does not have connecting rooms but in any case my request was declined. The front desk staff were efficient but were not particularly friendly or warm at check in and also at check out. The view of our luxury single room on the 8th floor... More

The access to the subway station makes this hotel a very good choice. Hakata station has malls, restaurant, subway access, bus terminal and Y100 Bus stop. It is located in a quiet side of town. I walked alone at 9pm on the back street and felt secured... Dim lit but only pedestrians around. The front of the hotel is more... More

We visited Fukuoka and stayed at this lovely hotel. Two twin rooms, my daughter shared her room with her toddler and they had the crib all set up upon check-in. Our room was large with two bigger than twin beds and a view of the city. They provided us with slippers and pajamas (but they were too small, I guess... More

Hotel in a very good location only 5 mins walk from Hakata Station. Rooms are nice and clean. Our family (group of 10) including 4 elderly and 2 kids enjoyed our stay so much. We will definitely come back again!
