Honestly, my only regret about choosing this place is that I didn't stay there for longer than one night. The whole place has a pretty familiar and traditional feeling to it. The staff are very kind; I had an early flight and thus had to leave at 5 in the morning and they gladly called me a taxi and even...

Guesthouse Kaine itself was in a really great location. Close enough to major attractions and the hustle and bustle of Fukuoka City, but also fair enough away that it's chill in the evenings. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. My only issue with my stay was that in the 6 person male dorm room there were 3 heavy snorers...

I stayed for two nights in April in the female dormitory room. The room is located on the second floor. There are three futons in this dormitory room. Overall it was a good budget stay. Pro: 1. Close location to train station. The closest station was Nakasu-wabata. It was 10 minutes walk. 2. Close to shops like the archade (rows...

This is our second time staying here, after more than 5 years. Luckily this place has not changed much and still remains tidy and clean. Staff are as friendly as before and speaks good English. Location is not too far from main shopping street but has a local area feeling and vibe. Space may not a bit small but you...

It is a real tiny guest house but close proximity. Reception has dual function as communal area looks rather shabby and dark. Bed rooms look pretty standard. What I disliked is my room mates. They were young Korean boys who came back late night and produced noise when entering the room. Besides, due to tiny building, get prepared if you...

I've been here three times, whenever I need to go to Fukuoka I basically stay at the Kaine. The place is extremely convenient to reach (just a few stops of subway from the airport) and to stay at (a few mins/one or two subway stops far from many locations worth to visit and nice places to eat). The atmosphere is...

This place was nice and in a great location. The staff were friendly and helped us a lot. We had access to wifi and got the room at the back which got some light. The only negative was the room size and futons, anyone over 6ft will struggle and more than 2 bags is a struggle to organise. Overall it...

Entering through a small restaurant/bar gives this place a really cool atmosphere. the common room is small but really nice and cozy, the facilities are clean and spit spot, the staff are friendly and helpful- and the location is great- its right in Nakasu, a few minutes walk, close to the main areas and walkable to Tenjin area and the...

There are a few things that could be improved here. The futons, pillows and blankets were all very thin and old making for an uncomfortable sleep. Walking through the restaurant while it was open, with luggage, was awkward. There was no curfew however if you wanted to stay out late you needed to tell them that morning so they could...

Beautiful guesthouse with great interior and great staff with plenty of informations on local food and sights. One shower could be a problem as well as the steep stairs to the attic dormitory, but these minor things do not really matter. The wifi connections is fast but do not count with the slooow computer. Superb location close to everything.
