I stayed here with 5 friends for 1 night. It is a luxury golf resort set on a golf course with an indoor and outdoor onsen. It is typically serenely Japanese. Rooms are large and Tatami mat flooring is beautiful under (bare) feet. Beds were made up by staff while we were at dinner and were comfortable. If you prefer...

Our family spent 3 nights at this beautiful Onsen hotel, we enjoyed every seconds during the stay, the room, the dining, the service. Everything is wonderful, very traditional, calm, elegant and the Japanese dining are superb! Our children loves the Japanese futon beds. The hotel is at quite remote area but they provide free shuttle bus to Ashinoyu bus stop...

Where to begin... We're promised lots but were delivered very little. Couldn't use onsen as promised due to tattoos even though travel agent checked twice to make sure, We're told we could be collected from railway station as long as we rang to arrange but not available as we arrived after 2pm, We're told we could see Mt Fuji from...

My mother and I went to Hakone for a onsen trip, but we didn't want to pay too much on our stay, and yet have a decent onsen/ryokan experience. So after some research, we decided to stay at this hotel. The location is not very convenient, as it was located a bit far away from the station, but still accessible...

Great choice for those seeking a quiet, peaceful ryokan/onsen experience. Pricey but worth it. Kaiseki dinner and breakfast was outstanding. We traveled with our son who really enjoyed wearing the yukata (they provided a child size for him) as well as sleeping on the tatami floor with the thick blankets. We reserved a room for 3-4 and it was spacious...

There is really nothing around the hotel except a golf course. The hotels and the rooms i felt definitely need some updating. I would say the best things about this hotel was the outdoor onsen and the food. However, the futons were super comfy and the pillow was great to sleep on. Not sure what they put in their pillows....

The hotel itself is beautiful with its small Japanese gardens, azaleas and golf course. The Japanese-style rooms are very spacious with a wonderful view on the greenery. The staff was very nice and helpful. We got a bit lost on our way because the hotel is in a remote location but they came right away to fetch us when we...

I stayed at this hotel for one night while visiting the Hakone area. Overall I had a pleasant stay, especially since I got an idea about what onsen/ryokan were all about. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and the rooms spacious. However, some of the wood fixtures in the hotel as well as the furniture needs upgrading. For me,...

This traditional style hotel is set in surrounding golf courses and mountains. The staff are very friendly and helpful. A feature of the place are the traditional style rooms and sleeping mats. While we enjoyed the outdoor bath and the special banquet it can become uncomfortable after a couple of days when there are no chairs to sit on in...
