By observation, swimming pool was closed in Winter. Not sure outdoor hot springs ♨️ were heated or geothermal.

There's a dedicated hotel bus at the bus station. It's a small bus but it goes up to the hotels every 20min or so. It costs 100 yen per person and drops you off in front of the reception.
