The hotel is located just right between the morning market and the Kanamori red brick wearhouse. The easiest way to go from Hakodate Airport to the hotel is by Airport Bus Stop No.3. It parks right in front of the hotel at the 5th stop. The Hakodate JR station is within walking distance.

This is a western hotel and its great advantage is good location. Located on a quiet street, it is about 7 min walk from JR station and the very interesting morning market. Staff are friendly and helpful, able to communicable in English (though limited). One side is facing the bay with a great sea view. Parking on site but costs...

Within 10-15mins walk from Hakodate station the location is great. The staff are friendly and the hotel room clean but if you're looking for atmosphere you won't find it in the East wing. The room is spacious by Japanese standards but it's like staying in an institution. Drab drab drab! The view from our room 330 would have been good...

Room was slightly disappointing - small & dated. Location was great though. Just mins walk to JR station, morning market, Hakodate Bay Area and most tourist attractions. Overall a pleasant stay but the room in the east wing definitely need makeover :)

Our second trip to Hakodate, and we chose to stay at this hotel again. Gorgeous big twin room - book the deluxe room instead of the standard. Value for money, definitely. Close to the sights and food - morning market great for seafood and also the red brick warehouses for shopping, sightseeing and bay cruises. In all, really good hotel...

The lobby is large and welcoming, the reception staff kind and professional. We chose a twin beds room in the east building, the older one. The rooms are clean and comfortable, rather large for japanese standard, but they clearly show their age and the odd metal doors to the corridor reminds me of the movie “Shining”. The best feature of...

It is 15 min walk from the JR station, close to the Asahichi Fish Market. The hotel looks new but the East Wing that i stayed in was a little dated and odd. The door of the hotel is all metal, room is very small. Air conditioning/heat is very noisy. This is the worst room I ever have in Japan....

Most hotels in Japan are really small but this was really big. I'm not sure if it's because Hakodate has much more land to build on but it was a nice surprise. The rooms are clean and the staff spoke English fairly well. It's location is well within walking distance from the jr station and very close to the fish...

Newly-renovated hotel with clean and spacious rooms. As the other reviewers have said, it's proximity to the morning market, Kanemori warehouse and JR Hakodate Station is a plus, although dragging a luggage through mounds of snow may be a bit tricky for some. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, since staff converse rather comfortably in English. The pick-up for the...

The hotel is located a 10-minute walk from the JR Hakodate Station. Upon exiting, look for Mount Hakodate and walk towards it and you should be at the front entrance. Alternatively follow the shoreline and walk in the same direction and that route will bring you to the rear entrance of the hotel. Either way, it'll bring you pass the...
