Regards domestic departures - Modern airport, some of the queues to check in & clear security seemed long but staff actively managed them and were on hand to help. Cleared security relatively quickly with pleasant and helpful staff. Facilities, shops and restaurants are plentiful, less so having cleared security. Plenty of seating near gates for customers

Yes, it has good facilities and lots of things to do but if you go during peak (e.g Xmas) prepare yourself for an extraordinarily long wait getting through security. They have 3 security points for a couple of thousand passengers and we took 2 hours to get through. Absolutely diabolical and a bad way to end your holiday. This is...

It was just amazing we can take open-air onsen at the airport! I just used this facility for onsen. There were many amenities such as yukata, face creams, towels...if I visit Hokkaido again and have to wait for hours at the airport, I will definitely go back there!

What is going on here? Have the Japanese completely lost their way? What happened to this once modern and forward thinking country? Two hours for the disabled, elderly and families with children and babies to queue to get through security?!? While the rest of the world has priority lanes for pregnant women, wheel chair users and families with children and...

Yes, the pictures shown are taken mostly from the Spa at 4th floor of the New Chitose Airport. You can get a free pass from the hotel lobby. Nevertheless, I will just go ahead and make my review for Airport Terminal Hotel. If you have an early flight in the morning and don't want the hassle to wake up too...

We have trouble check in as too many passengers in a small airport. The Japanese staff not as fast and efficient as they are famed for ... Come early to avoid jams Access is easy through JR rail and subway It's cheaper than taking taxi . Go for daily pass for the subway and bus

This place is a spa, an onsen. It is often confused with the AIR TERMINAL HOTEL, a nice, simple traveller's hotel listed above, because the names are similar. "Yusumidokoro" is NOT a hotel. Despite this, my friend managed to accidentally make a "reservation" there by phone, which lead to all kinds of confusion.
