Have stayed here many times for business and pleasure. Easy location to find, clean throughout and very friendly staff. Internet access is free, convenience stores very close by, good TVs in each room, clean bathrooms and kept in top condition at all times!
This is a basic hotel but ready for need for business trip. I chose this hotel because it was closest to the train station. The reception was very cheerful. It was much cheaper than other hotel and I was a little afraid of poor condition. But I was very happy about the efficiency which explain the low cost. We have to purchase most of the amenities, but women can choose five items for free from variety of items. Guest are able to choose pillow with various types. The cost to use hot spring is not included and have to pay separately. Since a bath tub is in each room, it make sense people who are not interested in hot spring do not have to pay for it. On the other hand, breakfast is included for all plans. The selection and quality was wonderful. The room was a little small but this hotel made me very happy. There are many good restaurants near the hotel which serves Yamaguchi special menus.…
Super Hotels is a typical Japanese business hotel chain, but there is one thing that sets them apart: they care for the environment. Everything in their Yamaguchi City/Yuda Onsen property is pretty well thought out, but most things (like onsen, internet in the room) will cost extra - not huge amounts, but a couple of hundred yen. The design is appealing - IKEAish. Breakfast is tasty. The company that runs the Super Hotel also has considerable experience in running care centers for the aged. The rooms in the Super Hotel are quite small. Two adults with two big suitcases will hardly fit in. The beds are good. As the hotel is on one of the main thoroughfares in Yamaguchi City, it is a little noisy. The staff are well organized, highly motivated, but the amount of competent tourist information they provide is limited. The official tourist information office is just across the street though.…
