This is a wonderful warm welcoming Onsen that offers a wide array of activities, restaurants and experiences. From the minute we arrived the staff was exceptional. My friend is experienced in Onsen and lives in Tokyo but as i am coming from abroad and don't speak Japanese, I found this to be an especially welcoming hotel. We were looked after...

We spent two nights at Minami (as it seems to be known in the town) and had a wonderful and very Japanese experience. Most of the staff don't speak English, as they don't have many Western guests. However, Lina, who did speak English, made our stay by looking after us wonderfully. She was truly lovely. The food is good as...

If you're not Japanese and would like to experience real Japanese culture and hospitality then this is a fabulous experience. It has authentic hot springs under the Hotel which is fabulous experience. The rooms are small but comfortable and you can elect if you'd like a bed or sleep on the floor.

I stayed one night at Kasuien Minami and really enjoyed my time with them. It is a beautiful hotel with more facilities than I've ever encountered in one place. The garden is voted the 9th most beautiful in Japan and it is one of the first things you encounter when you enter the hotel (along with a warm welcome from...

This ´onsen´ - spa hotel - is a very relaxing place almost in the country side in Shimane prefecture. We had a nice Japanese style room with tatami floors and a futon mattress, which was very pleasant. There was also a private hot spring outdoor bath in our room, fantastic. The service in the hotel was very polite, professional and...
