We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Migawatei Ochikochi. From the “wide view” room, lovely staff and great food and interesting location, we can only say 素晴らしい or marvellous!
I particularly loved the furniture and my breakfast!
We stopped here for two nights towards the end of a two week trip, with the aim of chilling for a couple of days before the bright lights of Tokyo and the trip home. This beautiful hotel really delivered, with beautiful rooms, amazing service, delicious kaiseki meals and the most…

A small town (Tomono Ura) with not much to see (a small wharf) but to spent a day to rest. The ryokan was fabulous and the room wonderful: hot tub outside overlooking the sea and the islands. Very nice room attendants and a japanese dinner with many souvenirs!
"All rooms have beautiful views of the sea and islands. Corner rooms with private onsen were great."
"Choose a room with a balcony facing the sea and a indoor outdoor hot tub."
"Get a room with a private hot tub overlooking water"
"Room with a private bath overlooking the bay!"
