I was lucky to be upgraded to a bigger room, the bed size is big enough for me (i am only 155cm!). I will suggest you to email hotel checking on the bed size, they are quite responsive! :)

Not sure but we had a standard twin room and that was a good size for Japan and comfortable enough. Beware 'double' rooms in Japan if there is more than one of you.
