The guesthouse is located in a quiet neighborhood, just few minutes walk from the main railway (JR) station. Miki (the owner) was really nice and helpful and enthusiastically keen about travelers from around the world. Very clean and neatly decorated place. Nothing bad - but for the females room, their dorm room is sort of like a big closet right...

It was easy to find the guest house (just walk towards Manten hotel from station and its just around the corner behind the hotel). Just a 10 min walk. Reception staff was very friendly and gave good recommendation about place to eat and must-try local food (Nodoguro sushi). The kitchen lounge was a great place to meet other travellers. Overall,...

This is a house converted into a hostel. Its in the middle of a quiet residential area and the signboard is not prominent, so its easy to miss. Rooms are small, but clean and convenient. Staff was helpful and spoke decent English. Its close proximity to Kanazawa station is a plus too. Compared to other hostels, this is good if...

I love how close this place is to the train station. However,I realised that there is many more hotels that are in the same area. I was placed in a bunk bed in a closet like area. It seems like a massive wardrobe with bunk beds in them as there's only closet like sliding doors for the room/wardrobe. It's also...

pros: First of all the house is brand new and in really good condition, it is very clean and cozy. The girl who welcomed us and Miki (the owner) were really nice and helpful and spoke good english. Cons: Location - yes, it is just 5 minutes walk from the JR station, but its actually on the opposite direction from...

I had a great time staying here for 3 nights, during the festival in early June. Kei was very helpful as the evening host during the festival period; she helped me find different areas of interest and booked my tour for the ninjadera while I was out during the day. Living room is pretty bare with a small table and...

We spent two nights there. The staff was very nice and helphul. Everything was perfectly fine. The guesthouse is very clean (even sterile), there's free wi-fi, free PC if you don't have your own device, kitchen with fridge and some basic stuff and showers with hot water. The "double room" looks like a traditional Japanese one - tatami, sleeping on...

We had such a warm welcome from our host. We arrived between 4-8pm for check in time, just by chance. Very, very clean and felt very safe. Tourist information were able to provide the homestays own directions. Would recommend this homestay.

Me and my friend stayed here for two nights and loved it. We had a small private room for the two of us and everything was immaculate - not a speck of dust in sight! The lounge area was comfortable, and the hosts were incredibly friendly and spoke English as well. The guesthouse is on the less touristy side of...
