Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I stayed here for 3 nights on a solo trip. I arrived early ( 10:00am) but they let me check in early, probably due to lack of so many guests from COVID-19. I personally liked the traditionally Japanese decor (e.g., near the entrance, lobby, hallways, and inside each individual rooms, etc. ) and the plethora of amenities. They have an onsite laundromat, which you can use for long stays. And thanks to COVID-19, they don't make your rooms everyday unless requested. Instead, they give you a new set of towels and bottle water, which is something I would have done if I were the hotel owner. It's quite a walk from the station, but there are a couple of convenience stores just down the road. Oyama Shrine, Kanazawa Castle, and Omicho Market are very close by. Just down the road (toward Korinbo) there is a bus stop that go to and from Komatsu airport. The only downside about the hotel is that the tempurature of the hot water tends to be unstable, changing from lukewarm to pretty hot and then lukewarm again, repeating the cycle.

We arrived at 1:15 but were denied access to our room until 2pm, the official check-in time. The hotel faces onto a noisy main road. The room was adequately sized, and the twin beds were extra wide – bliss compared to the futons we had slept on for the two previous nights. The TV naturally had a Japanese remote control, so it proved just too complicated to get the TV to work. We also struggled with the air conditioning system, but eventually managed. The coin operated laundry in the hotel was a boon after a week of travel, but the combined washer/dryer was really not very effective at drying. Hanging clothes up in the room & bathroom was a struggle, as there was no adequate space to do so, although there was a short pull-out line available in the bathroom. Reception did provide us a small iron and very small ironing board on request. The adjoining breakfast area is actually a restaurant in its own right, but too cramped to accommodate everyone at peak time. Breakfast options were a bit limited for European palates.

Four of us (two adults and two kids, 5 & 9) stayed for 3 nights here in December. In contrast to many Japanese hotel rooms, ours was spacious enough to accommodate the three beds, and still have space left over. The room was very comfortable. We didn't have the breakfast included, but the Italian restaurant at the ground floor looked good.

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-located to access both the station (15 minute walk), the fish market (across the street), and the old parts of town (15 minute walks). The hotel staff are very helpful and speak adequate English. The rooms are on the smaller side, which is normal in Japan, and if you have a lot of luggage, you may find it a bit tricky to find space to put it and to get into it. The hotel offers a laundry area so I recommend that you pack light and just plan to do laundry if you plan a longer trip. They (as well as the other 4 properties at which we stayed) also provide large, refillable (i.e. not single use) bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand wash so you can save suitcase space by not packing those toiletries. The property also offers some queen sized beds if, like my husband, you are very tall or, as in my case, very pregnant. My favorite feature of this property was the deep soaking tub; however, as the shower is in the tub, you may have a bit of trouble getting into and out of it if you suffer mobility problems (particularly hip or knee issues).

Clean and comfortable, with its best asset in the middle of our trip a coin-operated washer/dryer machine. Wish we had been booked in the Rei concept room for women. Breakfast is mediocre, though we were weary from our travels and had a decent pizza and chianti in the hotel dining room for dinner. Conveniently located.

The hotel is a bit far from the station (appx. 20-25 mins walking with suitcases) but you always can take a taxi or ride a bus. The location seemed very central for us - in the middle between the station and the attractions (old district & the garden). The market is very close. We arrived at 7pm and after check in went to the market area for dinner and drink in one of the local izakaya (seafood & sake). It was interesting experience :)) The bed was very comfortable, the room was clean. There are 2 convenient shops just besides the hotel - what else one can want in the morning?! Coffee & sandwiches! Would stay again, no doubts!

Finally I found everything here! A good bathroom organization (spaces and layout) and a bed with a mattress that allowed me to rest well without getting up in my back pain. The staff was very kind and helpful. Impeccable room cleaning. So I recommend it!

We booked 3 rooms at this hotel on 03AUG and the staff is very helpful to arrange 3 rooms on the same floor. They are very nice and noted it is my birthday and give the small gift to me when check-in. The room is clean and quite new. Guest can enjoy the free Japanese tea at the lobby. However, hotel does not have the parking space and it is first come first serve. The other guests have to park the car nearyby (around 5 minutes walk).

Great desk personnel, extremely helpful and very fast. The rooms are small but cheery and absolutely spotless. Washer/dryers are available, and one of the floors has a closet where you can get extra pillows of various density. I can’t recommend this hotel enough.
