I loved this hotel. Just 5 min. from the station, free breakfast and big bath on the 14th floor! It's a great feeling to take a bath with the view of Kanazawa at the end of the long day. Everything was clean, a bit hard bed for westerners, but I'll take it. Breakfast was a wide variety (but don't eat... More

We only spent two nights here but I was really impressed with the staff. As I was leading 16 college students on a 3 week garden tour of Japan, one student became ill and eventually wound up leaving to head back to USA. It was just a stomach bug but in an effort to help I was trying to find... More

Stayed two nights here for Golden Week and understandably the hotel was quite full. We booked through japanican (highly recommended!) in January and were prepared! The prices are a little steep for the hotel but also expected this during Golden Week. The hotel has a free public bath on the top floor (level 14, we did not try) and includes... More

The hotel is an easy one street 5 minute walk from the railway station We booked a twin room which we were told by a fellow traveller was quite a lot larger than a single room. We checked in and collected our case which we had arranged to be sent directly to the hotel. The check in process was smooth... More

We enjoyed two nights at the Route Inn. As an older couple, we asked for a quiet room and were given one at the end of the hall on the 13th floor. In the evening we used the Onsen (public bath) on the 14th floor, which was a great experience. Also from there were lovely views of the city, several... More

This hotel is close to Kanazawa station. The room was nice and bathroom looked very clean and new. I had a smoking room so the curtains and duvet cover had a smoke-stained color to them, but I suppose that's understandable. The duvet was quite unsightly though. I was really surprised when I walked in. Everything else is fine, though.

This is a Japanese chain of hotels for business travelers. The rooms are equipped with pajamas, all toiletries and are very clean and functional. For an authentic experience, visit the baths, a Japanese tradition. You thoroughly clean yourself in the anteroom before entering the (hot!!) baths. I wouldn't want to do it with people I know being a prudish American,... More

Stayed here one night. Overall very good standard service of Route Inn's . Rooms are clean and good size . Staff were abut abrasive but I out that down to Japanese lack of familiarity dealing with foreigners . Good facilities . Was not happy about having to pay for parking especially as we were on a motorbike, and in other... More

Booked the hotel two weeks in advance, when we got there they had no booking request, it was booked over the phone. They treated us with distain, they made us wait and let people behind us go to their rooms, when we asked about parking they told us we will have to wait to park the car. The staff were... More

Hotel was easy walk from the JR Station. Booking details said no check in before 1500hrs, we arrived 1515 and room was not ready till 1530hrs. Room was clean and small but quite adequate. First morning we got down to breakfast just before 0800hrs too find the buffet looking like it had been hit by locusts, very limited choice left... More
