In terms of location, this hotel is situated excellently, in the heart of Nagoya, atop a big department store and right next to Nagoya Station. The room was not too small (for a city hotel) and offered a nice view. The tv was a bit smallish, but served its purpose. What I liked most about it, however, was the fact...

We stayed here for 1 night to visit Nabana no Sato Winter Illumination and found this hotel to be extremely convenient to be used as a base. The hotel is practically located on the same building as the Meitetsu Bus Center where direct bus from Nagoya to Nabana no Sato could be found. It is also a stone throw away...

The central location is a must. You can go anywhere from that point, specially taking the yellow touristic bus for only 500 yens a day to visit not of the best places to see in Nagoya. However, the hotel itself has three major problems! The first one is to find it! Nor Google or asking on the streets will make...

The only inconvenience of this hotel is that you have to find your way, luggage and all, to the reception on the 11th floor. The double room I had was spacious and had its own dressing table area. Wifi is fast, shower bathroom is clean and spacious too. Meitetsu shopping mall shares the same building. Convenient to Nagoya train station,...

Pretty old furnished hotel with super convenient location. You will never feel lonely and hungry when staying here because tons of shops and restaurants surrounded you here. Stay here for a day for transit is suggested.

The hotel is situated almost the same block as the Nagoya main train station, opposite luxury shops like LV. The hotel lobby is on 11th floor and the ground floor entrance is not too difficult to locate. Hotel is above Meitetsu shopping mall and underground shopping streets. The room I had was single with a semi-double bed, the overall room...

Honestly the facility looks a little shabby, but there is no problem since everything you need is fully equipped, and bed is comfortable. The best thing about this hotel is location. It locates upper level of Meitetsu department store, and we can enjoy direct access to all train stations, Bus terminal and underground mall. Staff are friendly and properly...

Stayed here 1night to visit the Toyota Commemorative Museum and Scmaglev museum. Typical small room, twin bed non smoking room. Beds were firm as most are in Japan, all toiletries supplied, small capsule-like bathroom which had mould on some tiles and around top of bathtub where it met tiles. Very convenient to Nagoya Railway station but we had difficulty finding...

Meitetsu Grand Hotel has an incredibly convenient position. Department store is under the hotel where you can shop till you drop. Metro station is two minutes away and big Nagoya station is also few minutes so if you have a suitcase it is easy to walk to transport places. Staff of the hotel is very helpful and goes out of...

This hotel is strategically located near the railway station. One can find subways, taxis as well as local trains services within the walking distance. Shopping complexes, great lounges & cafes (i.e. Starbucks) and many restaurants are nearby and despite the active neiborhood, their rooms are surprisingly quiet. Staffs are polite & helpful. Some of them speak good English. However, if...
