Rooms were furnished 30 years ago, beds and pillows were hard and stiff. Room had a musky smell. WiFi did not work in certain parts of the room. Refrigerator is really noisy. No air conditioning in the hallways during the summer. Air conditioning in the room was not working. Needs a severe refurbishing. For 20000yen a night, this is definitely... More

I spent a couple of nights in the Mielparque hotel in Nagoya with some friends in September 2015. It is a really nice, fashionable hotel. They have parking for cars in an underground car park. They served a really nice, buffet breakfast, sort of a cross between full english and Asian, it was really nice, the orange juice was divine!... More

The hotel is very well located, near the subway and not too far from the main train station. There are great restaurants around and a grocery store. While the rooms are small, they are cleaned and functional. The staff doesn't speak English so funny things happen, but they are very professional. The staff is also very kind and always ready to... More

The rooms are clean and 4* standard, on the large side for Japan. With some imagination, the limited space within the bathrooms can be optimized. The breakfast buffet is below the Japanese 4* standard, but it is OK if someone else is paying for your stay. The room access system with cut keys with attached tags carrying the room number... Aseptic anonymity. That's how some reviewers describe this hotel. But Japanese people are not looking for flashy hotels. They want to find that comfortable feeling of the same pattern replication, wherever they go. This hotel accomplishes the task. It is clean and everything works properly. Smooth check in. Spacious room. Safety box, not so common in Japanese hotels. Free bottles... More

Mielparque Nagoya is a location which is easy to use also for a distant visitor as on foot about 2 minutes from on foot from JR Chikusa Station (subway Higashiyama Line and Chikusa Station), and a subway Sakuradori Line driveway station. Moreover, a preeminent place has access as about 4 minutes by JR or subway use up to Nagoya Station... More

We had a pleasant 2 nights stay here at a discounted rate. Good location; it's just opposite Chikusa St and near to convenient stores with 7-11 being the nearest. It's also located in the quiet business area, we hardly hear anything after 8pm. Room is dated, it felt like being to a 2* hotel in Malaysia but the breakfast spread... More

immaculate, beige in the extreme, completely functional and totally souless. Good location for my company HQ otherwise I'd never go again. Did the job of providing a good nights sleep. Asked for an Ironing board and was very promptly delivered something 2ft long and 6 inches high. Strange.
