The Shweiki Hotel is very well located...near the beach, the bus station, the diving centers, the restaurants and the shops...The team is friendly and so nice. Always smiling so we felt really welcoming. Helpful and Polite. Beds are comfortable, rooms are also comfortable. The price is really good for the quality. Some rooms have a sea view. Some rooms are bigger than others. Ask at the office during the check in. I recommend before or after your wadi rum / petra experiences. ☺️
This hotel is not for fussy people. It is a place for an overnight stay. It is a bit outdated but the staff is wonderful. As you walk out of the hotel to the left is a wonderful bakery, a little further down the road and one is surrounded by all sorts of nice shops. Everyone is very honest and as with everywhere else in Jordan it is great that one always feels very safe and is surrounded by genuine people.
This hotel is very well located, just in front of "Pizza Street" (Saada Street), which is central Aqaba's main food and shopping mile,Bay restaurant. As a building, the Shweiki has a lot of potential, seeing the huge entrance hall and the spacious rooms with their balconies. Unfortunately the rooms have not been refurbished since a long time. The floors were not tiled, but covered with carpets which had not been cleaned since a long time either. The blankets were also dirty, the toilet flush wasn't working and the TV was out of order, too. Luckily I stayed for only night. For sure an experience I would not like to repeat.
Nice centrally located hotel. Rooms are big , but outdated. Parking is free. You can walk from this hotel to many restaurants and shops in the central Aqaba
Had a great stay at the Shweiki Hotel. The manager and his staff were very friendly and welcoming. Food and service were excellent. The room had a balcony with a clear view to the Red Sea. If I ever return to this part of the world, I very much look forward to returning
