The receptionists (Wibi and Jena), did an excellent job for my stay. They assisted me greatly by helping to rebook my original visit after car trouble caused a delay in my original travel. They were the first happy faces I saw on arrival and were extremely friendly and helpful during my stay by helping me find the best restaurants and shopping locations. The area is excellent for walking to any activity like the ones mentioned above to include beaches, tours, banking and local activities, all within walking distance (5 to 12 blocks). I didn't need to move my car from the hotel parking for 3 days. Great location! The buffet breakfast is worthwhile also, in my opinion. The rooms have very solid walls and are quiet because you can't hear the people next door. You can hear people that are loud in the hallways, but not hearing the people next door is great! The executive room is very spacious with two large screen TV's in the sitting area and bedroom. Electric water kettle and complimentary small bottles of water, coffee and tea with 2 cups. Also two nice hotel robes and slippers provided. Not many toiletry amenities offered beside shower gel and shampoo, you must bring your own personal hygiene items. The hotel DOES NOT have the small washcloths (face towels) for use. If you prefer to use them as I do, you will have to bring your own or buy them locally. Now I know to bring my own! Also, I stayed in a temporary room for a night because I arrived the previous evening of my bookings (again with the help of Wibi and Jena). All was nice with the room, but the next day I was contacted by noon to move to my assigned Executive room. A male employee sent to assist with my relocation, brought the key, collected the first room key and left!! No assistance AT ALL with moving my bags or even to show me the room I was relocating to. I DID NOT feel like a respected guest at that time! I did experience an issue with the room I moved to, but Wibi and Jena were most helpful as usual. I did notice that the cleaning team could have done a better job, hair and small bits of trash left on the floors each day, (room and bathroom) and the tea pot needed cleaning from rust inside before it could be used, it was taken care of with a call to the reception desk of course.…
We used to spend our holiday yearly at this hotel. Were really happy to our room eventhough it's smaller than we had last year, but still it's beautiful while staring the relaxing seaview. Were bit satisfied from the services of food and Beverage dpt. But we would like to gave an especial thank you to those working at the front area. The friendly bell boy Jalal, an exceptional greetings came from Front desk Wassem, and to Marivic from the Lobby who entertained us while waiting for our room. We are looking forward to see you again guys. Once again we're too grateful for making our stayed good.
Lacosta hotel was a great stay during our visit to Aqaba. The rooms were very clean and neat, as well as very hygienic. The hotel facilities were also beyond what we expected, such as the gym and restaurant. The hotels location is perfect, near all shops and minutes away from the beach. Highly recommended: Ask the owner for his Paella special
