There are some popular South African wines available. We opted to bring our own wine and pay a $5 corkage fee. My favorite part of our stay was sitting out...

This was my first time to stay at White Horse Inn, Vumba.. We stayed 4 nights over the Easter weekend. 4 of us... We were greeted with friendly helpful staff and from beginning to end we experienced nothing but excellent service... The rooms were very comfortable and clean fitting in perfectly with the atmosphere. Food was amazing and personal service...

Just an amazing place. This was my second visit and I want to return. The location is rural near the border--think you could spit into Mozambique. The location is great--just a few miles from Mutare, but wonderful scenic drive. Good English meal, drinks in the parlor, dinner in the dining room, reasonable prices. I had a roast beef dish, others...

We celebrated a birthday in a marvellous setting, with a full three dishes with wine etc. Every dish was a tasteful experience, composed to stimulate vision, nose, and tongue - which it really did. The wine cellar is complex enough to meet any need; our wine choices completed the meal. The sweets of the day, accompanied by local coffee, finalised...

We booked in for Christmas eve and Christmas day as I wanted the food. Having read several reviews I opted for the White Horse Inn. We own a holiday home in Rusape but I did not want my wife cooking over Christmas. We were not disappointed by the quality of quantity of the meals. Absolutely outstanding.

I always try to stay here. Beautiful location. I miss the Nice single malt collection though. The restaurant from a bygone era. Classy and elegant. I do miss the owners presance. But i know his age dont allow for it. This is a piece of history. I hope it remains so. My family visited this place for nearly 40 years....
