Beautiful location in Hwange, the lodge is well laid out with great views. We stayed 2 nights, the staff were great, super friendly and always there to assist. Awesome watering hole for the elephants and got incredible sightings along with buffalo. Delicious food as well

We had an absolutely wonderful visit to Khulu Bush Camp. When you arrive at the lodge you won’t want (or need) to leave. The main lodge and all of the tents face directly onto a large waterhole, and there is always something there, elephants, kudu, impalas, baboons. We even watched several duiker one evening for at least half an hour. A giant male elephant even came up and drank out of the swimming pool while we were lounging in the main area. The rooms were heavenly with a bed so big an entire family could fit in it. And the heated blanket was a special and welcome treat. The food was delicious, very light and fresh. My husband particularly enjoyed the Chardonnay served with dinner. Our guide was Zeb, and he was absolutely wonderful. He shared so much with us about the animals and place, but even more importantly he shared the local culture. I especially enjoyed my visit to the local village. It was very enlightening and absolutely genuine—not a tourist show like you might encounter in Tanzania or Kenya. Everyone was so welcoming. We also really enjoyed our visit to the Painted Dog Conservation Project. It is very well presented and even can see some of their recovering wild dogs. Beautifully done. Thank you Zeb, Cho (Joe with a capital C), Chef, and Paines and all of Khulu Bush Camp Staff for a wonderful stay.

We had an amazing two days stay here! All I can say is wow! The view and experience we had watching the elephants drink from the pool was just breathtaking. Taz and his amazing staff went above and beyond their call of duty. Service was excellent! The meals were spectacular! Being vegetarian it’s always a challenge to get a decent meal when out. The meals were well put together, tasty and nutritious. Every meal we had we were blown away by the chef’s creations. Amazing. Will definitely be visiting again.

Khulu is an amazing place - serene, beautiful and home to an incredible assortment of birds and animals. We stayed 4 nights and every night the elephants came to drink their fill at the waterhole in front of the camp as well as straight out the splash pool on the deck. The staff are wonderful, the food is delicious and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. A truly outstanding experience.
