Spent three nights at this charming lodge over Christmas and thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the tree houses are great fun each have their own balcony with lovely views of the pan and water hole. The water hole attracts loads of game all day long. We arrived a couple of hours after an elephant had entered the lodge and emptied the...

we spent four marvelllous days at Sikumi and saw many elephants, baboos, zebras, impalas, kudus, buffalos, giraffes, lions and many different birds. Our guide David, a wildlife passionate, explained us so many things about life and habits of these animals. The lodge is perfectly situated at the edge of a large open valley near a very well visited waterhole. The...

Best safari in Africa! Saw a lion hunt , a leopard , herd of elephant, wild dogs , ibexes, and had a great fire side chat with good friends under the starry African sky! This is the place for memories in paradise! The breakfast was typical English bangers , beans and fried eggs! The guides were extremely knowledgeable kind and...

The 4-5 days that my family and I spent at Sikumi Tree Lodge were, by far, the most memorable and meaningful part of our 3-week trip to South Africa, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. Though quite isolated within Hwange National Park in Zimbabwe, the trek from Harare International Airport is truly worth it if you seek a pure wilderness and safari experience,...

Having spent the previous 2 months in backpackers and on overland truck safaris we shouted ourselves to a few days stay a Sikumi Tree Lodge. It was wonderful and we wish we could spend the next 4 months of our African trip in this type of accommodation. Alas we could not afford to do so. Marlene looked after us so...

Located on the fringes of the Hwange Park and overlooking a waterhole which is frequented by everything from elephants to cheetahs, this really is the perfect place to unwind. Don't expect 5 star luxury when...

Many hotels and lodges have I visited but hospitality at Sikumi is a cut above the rest, Brian and Marleen desire a one on one relationship with you. They take you as a family. The guys are professionals. The lodges are unique, smart and welcoming. All building materials used are environmentally friendly and biodegradable. The unique lodges can best be...

“Some of the rooms are higher up in the trees than others - I liked that about mine. it felt very safe being high up, and it was solid and completely sturdy. They are also sustainable, clean, and have some pretty cool safari decor. Some advice that my mother didn't listen to - we were kindly warned not to bring food to the treehouse bedrooms and to also keep the front doors closed. So of course she left her bedroom door open while we were at the main lodge eating lunch...with an open bag of caramels on the floor. Some baboons climbed into my parents' room and had themselves a treat. The staff chased them out very quickly, and they didn't damage anything thankfully. That incident is not at all indicative of the lodges' safety - baboons are everywhere and actually more often cause mischief in towns and cities. Just have to listen to your guides' advice.”

“all rooms here are good, jus choose one that fits your family size, or needs! No fitness center, you don need it. A few press ups, on the lawn, a morning walk or jog, will give more than just an exercise as you meet the colorful fauna and flora at Sikumi!”
