I visited Stanley lodge with my girlfriend and parents over the easter weekend. We were on self drive from Namibia and Stanley lodge is not the easiets place to find but luckely everyone in Livingstone can tell you where it is. Once arrived my parents were accommodated in the colonial style cottage with an impressive bathtub and private pool. My...

The location of the lodge is perfect. Located close enough to the falls and all the activities that it is very easy to get everywhere, but you are far enough away from the falls that you don't have constant helicopter, boat or road traffic. The service, starting with Pascal, the manager, and each of the wait staff was 5 star....

Wonderful from the individual lodges with enormous beds, overlooking the spray of the Falls and open at the front. The staff were lovely and the food excellent, especially nice eating in different places each time.

This was our first stop on a tour of the Falls, Chobe and Okavango, and it was a superb way to start the holiday. We and the teenage kids all loved the rooms with the open walls and bath, the lodge with its infinity pool, and the amazingly friendly and helpful staff and manager. The food was superb, and we...

This is the most different place I have stayed in. No wall on the front my lodge (Honeymoon) and so no key for the door. I enjoyed the interaction with the widlife, but if you are phohobic about insects, spiders and lizards sharing your space go for a closed lodge. No set meal times; you eat and drink when you...

Friend PROMISED this would be our favorite lodge and a great end to our Botswana/ Namibia stay. Skeptical because we ardently avoid touristy, themed, embarrassingly over-the-top hotels and lodges. Have had our fill over the years. But he was right. Although we unhappily dragged ourselves in to the Stanley after a tremendous 2 week ground tent camping experience, we immediately...

This lodge is amazing! We had been on a hetic schedule to Cape town and Johannesburg and wanted to visit the Falls but relax at the same time, Stanlet Safi Lodge helped us to acheive this. The attention to details, fine dining, personalised service was worth every penny spent. We stayed in the Honeymoon lodge and really stretched our budget...

The Stanley Safari Lodge and it's at it's staff simply do everything perfectly. The lodges are very clean, beautifully decorated and very romantic. We had a king, four poster bed with a wonderful sweeping mosquito net. The staff are so friendly and enthusiastic as they attend to every need, they just make you feel so welcome. With its friendly staff and warm welcome this lovely African-themed lodge offers calm and comfort to the traveller. The spray from the Victoria Falls can be seen from each cottage's deck, bush surrounds you and it is an easy drive to see the Falls or take a Sunset Cruise on the Zambesi. We were made to feel totally at ease...

From every room at Stanley Safari Lodge, you can see the distant views of the spray of the Victoria Falls. Set on a hill overlooking unspoiled bush, only 3 km birds view from the river and the Victoria Falls, Stanley is a perfect base from which to explore the delights of the area – from river rafting and bungee jumping to sunset cruises, elephant back rides or walking with lions. Quiet and intimate, Stanley Safari Lodge will tailor your stay to suit you.The opensided Main House has been designed with space and views in mind. Enjoy sundowners in the African style lounge, French cuisine with an African twist in the dining room or spend some quiet time in the library or upper deck discovering the secrets of Africa. This half open house has a truly African feel, while the colonial closed suites with private plunge pool evoke the elegant era of Stanley and Livingstone.
